The Weight We Were Not Built to Carry

Matthew 11:28-30
By Mohau Tshabangu · Founding editor & lead writerPublished Two days ago · How we review

28Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)

His yoke is easy not because the work disappears, but because the work is shared. A yoke is built for two.

What would it look like, today, to actually hand something over — instead of carrying it one more mile alone?
