These terms govern your use of Devine Scripture (devinescripture.com). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What we offer

Devine Scripture is a free online Bible reading and study site. We publish public-domain Bible translations, original devotionals, topical answers, commentary, word studies, and reference material. Access is free. We may add optional accounts, features, or paid offerings in the future, and these terms will apply to those too.

2. Your account

Signing in is optional and exists so we can remember your bookmarks, highlights, favorites, and reading-plan progress. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@devinescripture.com.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, mirror, or bulk-download the site or its API in ways that interfere with normal use;
• republish our original editorial content (devotionals, answers, topic articles, commentary, word studies) without written permission;
• attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or authentication;
• use the site to harass others, distribute malware, or violate applicable law.

4. Intellectual property

Bible translations on this site (KJV, ASV, WEB, BBE, DBY, DRA, YLT) are public domain. Our original writing — devotionals, topical answers, topic articles, chapter commentary, word studies, and editorial framing — is © Devine Scripture and is licensed to you for personal study and sharing of short quotes with attribution. For wider reuse, please contact us.

5. Third-party services

We use third-party infrastructure (hosting, fonts, analytics) to run the site. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.

6. Advertising

We may display advertising in the future, including through networks such as Google AdSense. Ads, when present, will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Ad networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads; you can manage this through your browser settings.

7. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." We aim for accuracy in our editorial writing and faithful presentation of public-domain Bible translations, but we make no warranties of any kind. See our Disclaimer for the full editorial and spiritual disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devine Scripture is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for a free site, is generally zero).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when we last did. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
