What Revelation 5:13 means
The horizon widens to the utmost: every created thing in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea joins in blessing, honoring, and glorifying both Him who sits on the throne and the Lamb, acknowledging Their everlasting dominion. This is the climax of worship—universal recognition of the Father and the Son together. The co-worship shows the unity of Their reign and the Lamb’s full participation in divine glory. Creation was made through and for this praise, and now voices from every realm confess the rightful rule and endless worth of God and His Christ. The goal of history is adoration unending.

Context
Following the angelic doxology, the scene achieves its peak as all creation responds. The scope now includes every realm mentioned earlier in the chapter that had been silent when the scroll was unopened. Now, in light of the Lamb’s worthiness, they speak with one voice. This prepares for the brief but fitting conclusion in the next verse, where the living creatures and elders seal the worship with “Amen” and prostration, and the narrative can proceed to the opening of the seals.
