What Luke 18:30 means
Jesus promises that those who sacrifice for the Kingdom will receive far more in return, both in this present life and in the age to come, which is eternal life. The "manifold more" does not necessarily mean an exact replication of what was given up, but an abundant provision of spiritual blessings, deeper relationships within the spiritual family, and God's sustaining grace. Ultimately, true eternal life is the greatest reward, transcending all earthly gains.

This verse concludes Jesus's response to Peter's query, detailing the comprehensive rewards for radical sacrifice for the Kingdom of God. This promise brings closure to the discussion of wealth and sacrifice, directly preceding Jesus's somber prophecy of His impending suffering.
