What Acts 4:12 means
Peter delivered an uncompromising declaration of the exclusivity of salvation through Jesus Christ. He asserted that "in none other is there salvation," and that "neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." This statement unequivocally proclaimed Jesus as the sole means of deliverance from sin and death, leaving no room for alternative paths or other religious figures. For his Jewish audience especially, this was a profound and challenging claim.

Context
This verse presents the theological climax of Peter's defense, expressing the absolute necessity of Jesus for salvation. It naturally concludes his explanation of Jesus' identity and work, emphasizing the eternal implications of accepting or rejecting Christ. This bold declaration establishes a foundational truth for the early church and further antagonizes the non-believing Sanhedrin.

v.12This passage
v.13Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
