What does the Bible say about wisdom?

Wisdom in scripture is not raw intelligence — it is the skill of living well under God. Proverbs personifies wisdom calling out in the streets. James says any believer who lacks it should ask, and God will give 'liberally.' The starting point, repeated again and again: 'the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.'

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
