What does the Bible say about purpose?
The Bible answers the question of purpose at two levels. The big-picture answer: humans exist to know, love, and reflect God. The personal answer: God 'works all things together for good for those who love him,' and prepares specific 'good works' for each person to walk in. Purpose in scripture is given, not invented.
We are his workmanship, created for good works.
