What Romans 15:33 means
Paul closes with a simple, rich benediction: “Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.” The God who produces harmony among believers and reconciles sinners to Himself is the One they most need. His presence secures unity, calms anxieties, and guides plans. After urging them toward mutual welcome, grounding unity in Christ, outlining mission plans, and soliciting prayer, Paul entrusts everything to the God of peace. This final blessing sums up the chapter’s heartbeat: a church united in Christ, sustained by God’s nearness, living for His glory.

Context
This concluding blessing follows Paul’s prayer requests and travel hopes (vv.30–32). Ending with “the God of peace” ties back to the unity theme of the chapter—harmony in worship (vv.5–6), mutual reception (v.7), Jew-Gentile praise (vv.8–12), and cooperative mission and mercy (vv.25–27). The benediction sends the Roman believers forward under God’s care as Paul prepares to finish his Jerusalem service and, God willing, visit them.
v.32that I may come unto you in joy through the will of God, and together with you find rest.
