What Romans 15:10 means
Paul adds another Scripture that calls Gentiles to rejoice with God’s people. The note is not merely that Gentiles will praise, but that they will do so together with Israel. This shared joy displays reconciliation in God’s plan. The barriers of ethnicity and custom do not define the people of God; common rejoicing in the Lord does. The church is not a merger of two competing groups but one family delighting together in God’s saving work. Unity is therefore a matter of worship as much as of ethics.

Context
This second citation (after v.9) strengthens the case for Jew-Gentile unity, specifying that Gentiles rejoice “with his people.” It prepares for verse 11’s universal summons to praise and verse 12’s messianic anchor. The flow moves from Gentile praise, to shared praise with Israel, to a call upon all nations, culminating in hope focused on the Davidic root. Paul is building a Scriptural chorus to undergird his call to mutual reception and shared worship.
