Psalms 121

1I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: From whence shall my help come?

1I look up toward the mountains—where does my help come from?

2My helpcomethfrom Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.

2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.

3He will not let your foot slip; the one who watches over you will not fall asleep.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.

4Listen, the one who watches over Israel never grows weary or sleeps.

5Jehovah is thy keeper: Jehovah is thy shade upon thy right hand.

5The LORD is the one who watches over you; the LORD is like a protective shade at your right hand.

6The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.

6The sun will not harm you during the day, nor will the moon hurt you at night.

7Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; He will keep thy soul.

7The LORD will protect you from all evil; he will keep your life safe.

8Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth and for evermore.

8The LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forever.
