What 1 Corinthians 16:24 means

Paul closes by declaring his love for all of them in Christ Jesus. After a letter filled with correction and strong appeals, he assures them that his heart is toward them, not against them. “In Christ Jesus” frames his love’s source and sphere; it is shaped by the Lord they share and aims at their growth in him. The word “all” is significant—his pastoral affection extends to the entire church, including those who were difficult. Love and truth travel together to the end. With “Amen,” Paul seals his words in faith and goodwill.

Context

This final line follows the blessing of grace (v.23) and balances the stern warning of verse 22. It affirms that all Paul has written, even the hardest parts, flowed from love in Christ for the Corinthians’ good. Thus the chapter—and the letter—ends with grace and love, gathering up its themes of order, admonition, and fellowship into the embrace of the Lord Jesus, who remains the church’s life and hope.

v.23The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

v.24This passage
