What does the Bible say about parenting?
Scripture treats parenting as one of the highest callings and one of the most patient. Children are called 'a heritage from the LORD.' Parents are told to teach diligently, discipline fairly, and avoid provoking children to anger. The Bible is realistic about how hard the work is — and serious about how much it matters.
