1And again lifting up my eyes I saw four war-carriages coming out from between the two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

1And I lifted up mine eyes again, and saw, and behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

1And I turn back, and lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, four chariots are coming forth from between two of the mountains, and the mountains <FI>are<Fi> mountains of brass.

4Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

4And I made answer and said to the angel who was talking to me, What are these, my lord?

4And I spoke and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

4And I answer and say unto the messenger who is speaking with me, `What <FI>are<Fi> these, my lord?'

5And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

5And the angel, answering, said to me, These go out to the four winds of heaven from their place before the Lord of all the earth.

5And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

5And the messenger answereth and saith unto me, `These <FI>are<Fi> four spirits of the heavens coming forth from presenting themselves before the Lord of the whole earth.

6The chariot wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country.

6The carriage in which are the black horses goes in the direction of the north country; the white go to the west; and those of mixed colour go in the direction of the south country.

6That in which are the black horses goeth forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth towards the south country;

6The brown horses that <FI>are<Fi> therein, are coming forth unto the land of the north; and the white have come forth unto their hinder part; and the grisled have come forth unto the land of the south;

7And the strong went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

7And the red ones go to the east; and they made request that they might go up and down through the earth: and he said, Go up and down through the earth. So they went up and down through the earth.

7and the strong go forth, and seek to go that they may walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, Go, walk to and fro through the earth. And they walked to and fro through the earth.

7and the strong ones have come forth, and they seek to go to walk up and down in the earth;' and he saith, `Go, walk up and down in the earth;' and they walk up and down in the earth.

8Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

8Then crying out to me, he said, See, those who are going to the north country have given rest to the spirit of the Lord in the north country.

8And he cried unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, See, these that go forth towards the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

8And he calleth me, and speaketh unto me, saying, `See, those coming forth unto the land of the north have caused My Spirit to rest in the land of the north.'

9And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

9And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

9And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

9And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

10Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;

10Take the offerings of those who went away as prisoners, from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, and from the family of Josiah, the son of Zephaniah, who have come from Babylon;

10Take [gifts] of them of the captivity, of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, and come thou the same day, and enter into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;

10to take of the captivity (who came from Babylon) from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, `and thou hast come in--thou, in that day, yea, thou hast come into the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah,

11yea, take of them silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

11And take silver and gold and make a crown and put it on the head of Zerubbabel;

11yea, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

11and thou hast taken silver and gold, and hast made a crown, and hast placed on the head of Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest,

12and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;

12And say to him, These are the words of the Lord of armies: See, the man whose name is the Branch, under whom there will be fertile growth.

12and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold a man whose name is [the] Branch; and he shall grow up from his own place, and he shall build the temple of Jehovah:

12and hast spoken unto him, saying: Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, saying: Lo, a man! A Shoot--<FI> is<Fi> his name, And from his place he doth shoot up, And he hath built the temple of Jehovah.

13even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

13And he will be the builder of the Temple of the Lord; and the glory will be his, and he will take his place as ruler on the seat of power; and Joshua will be a priest at his right hand, and between them there will be a design of peace.

13even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

13Yea, he doth build the temple of Jehovah, And he doth bear away honour, And he hath sat and ruled on His throne, And hath been a priest on His throne, And a counsel of peace is between both.

14And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

15And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

15And those who are far away will come and be builders in the Temple of the Lord, and it will be clear to you that the Lord of armies has sent me to you.

15And they that are far off shall come and build at the temple of Jehovah: and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah yourGod.

15And the far-off come in, and they have built in the temple of Jehovah, and ye have known that Jehovah of Hosts hath sent me unto you, yea, it hath come to pass, if ye do certainly hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.'
