What Revelation 2:24 means
To the rest in Thyatira who have not accepted this teaching and who reject what its advocates call the “deep things of Satan,” Jesus lays no additional burden. The phrase likely echoes the pretension of secret, deeper insight; Christ unmasks it as satanic depth. He does not pile on extra rules for the faithful remnant; He simply secures them where they stand. The Lord distinguishes between the seduced and the steadfast. His pastoral care is gentle: He will not crush the faithful with needless demands, but will protect them from the pressure of false spiritual elitism.

Context
After announcing exemplary judgment (verse 23), this verse addresses the faithful minority unaffected by Jezebel’s teaching. It relieves them—no new burdens—and clarifies the true nature of the so-called deeper knowledge. The next verse (verse 25) gives a simple, stabilizing command: hold fast until Christ comes. These verses transition from discipline to encouragement, preparing for the ensuing promises to those who overcome (verses 26–28).
