1Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
1The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
1The Lord is King; he is clothed with glory; the Lord is clothed with strength; power is the cord of his robe; the world is fixed, so that it may not be moved.
1The Lord is the God to whom revenge belongeth: the God of revenge hath acted freely.
2Thy throne is established of old: Thou art from everlasting.
2Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
2The seat of your power has been from the past; you are eternal.
2Lift up thyself, thou that judgest the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.
3The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
3The rivers send up, O Lord, the rivers send up their voices; they send them up with a loud cry.
3How long shall sinners, O Lord: how long shall sinners glory?
4Above the voices of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea, Jehovah on high is mighty.
4The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
4The Lord in heaven is stronger than the noise of great waters, yes, he is stronger than the great waves of the sea.
4Shall they utter, and speak iniquity: shall all speak who work injustice?
5Thy testimonies are very sure: Holiness becometh thy house, O Jehovah, for evermore.
5Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.
5Your witness is most certain; it is right for your house to be holy, O Lord, for ever.
5Thy people, O Lord, they have brought low: and they have afflicted thy inheritance.
