1His foundation is in the holy mountains.
1His foundation is in the holy mountains.
1A canticle of a psalm for the sons of Core: unto the end, for Maheleth, to answer understanding of Eman the Ezrahite.
1By sons of Korah. --A Psalm, a song. His foundation <FI>is<Fi> in holy mountains.
2Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.
2The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
2O Lord, the God of my salvation: I have cried in the day, and in the night before thee.
2Jehovah is loving the gates of Zion Above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. [Selah
3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
3Let my prayer come in before thee: incline thy ear to my petition.
3Honourable things are spoken in Thee, O city of God. Selah.
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know me: Behold, Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: This one was born there.
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
4For my soul is filled with evils: and my life hath drawn nigh to hell.
4I mention Rahab and Babel to those knowing Me, Lo, Philistia, and Tyre, with Cush! This <FI>one<Fi> was born there.
5Yea, of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; And the Most High himself will establish her.
5And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
5I am counted among them that go down to the pit: I am become as a man without help,
5And of Zion it is said: Each one was born in her, And He, the Most High, doth establish her.
6Jehovah will count, when he writeth up the peoples, This one was born there. [Selah
6The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
6Free among the dead. Like the slain sleeping in the sepulchres, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
6Jehovah doth recount in the describing of the peoples, `This <FI>one<Fi> was born there.' Selah.
7They that sing as well as they that dance shall say, All my fountains are in thee.
7As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
7They have laid me in the lower pit: in the dark places, and in the shadow of death.
7Singers also as players on instruments, All my fountains <FI>are<Fi> in Thee!
