1 God is in the meeting-place of God; he is judging among the gods.
1--A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.
1 God standeth in the assembly ofGod, he judgeth among thegods.
2How long will you go on judging falsely, having respect for the persons of evil-doers? (Selah.)
2Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? Selah.
2 How long will ye judge unrighteously, and accept the person of the wicked? Selah.
3Give ear to the cause of the poor and the children without fathers; let those who are troubled and in need have their rights.
3Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.
3 Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and the destitute;
4Be the saviour of the poor and those who have nothing: take them out of the hand of the evil-doers.
4Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.
4 Rescue the poor and needy, deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
5They have no knowledge or sense; they go about in the dark: all the bases of the earth are moved.
5They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.
5 They know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are moved.
6I said, You are gods; all of you are the sons of the Most High:
6I--I have said, `Gods ye <FI>are<Fi> , And sons of the Most High--all of you,
6 I have said, Ye aregods, and all of you are children of the Most High;
