1Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem: praise thy God, O Sion.
1Praise ye Jah! for it is good. Sing psalms of ourGod; for it is pleasant: praise is comely.
1Praise ye Jah! For <FI>it is<Fi> good to praise our God, For pleasant--comely <FI>is<Fi> praise.
2Because he hath strengthened the bolts of thy gates, he hath blessed thy children within thee.
2 Jehovah doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth the outcasts of Israel.
2Building Jerusalem <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah, The driven away of Israel He gathereth.
3Who hath placed peace in thy borders: and filleth thee with the fat of corn.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

4Who sendeth forth his speech to the earth: his word runneth swiftly.
4 He counteth the number of the stars; he giveth names to them all.

5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
