1Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah, O my soul.

1Praise ye Jah! Praise, O my soul, Jehovah.

1Alleluia. Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.

2 As long as I live will I praise Jehovah; I will sing psalms unto myGod while I have my being.

2I praise Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

2The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.

3 Put not confidence in nobles, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

3Trust not in princes--in a son of man, For he hath no deliverance.

3Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.

4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his purposes perish.

5 Blessed is he who hath theGod of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah hisGod,

6 Who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;

9 Jehovah preserveth the strangers; he lifteth up the fatherless and the widow; but the way of the wicked doth he subvert.

9Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.

10 Jehovah will reign for ever, [even] thyGod, O Zion, from generation to generation. Hallelujah!

10Jehovah doth reign to the age, Thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise ye Jah!

10He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.
