1 My heart is fixed, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory.
1Unto the end, a psalm for David.
1 My heart is fixed, OGod: I will sing, yea, I will sing psalms, even [with] my glory.
2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.
2O God, be not thou silent in my praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.

3I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the peoples; And I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
3They have spoken against me with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.

4For thy lovingkindness is great above the heavens; And thy truth reacheth unto the skies.
4Instead of making me a return of love, they detracted me: but I gave myself to prayer.

5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens, And thy glory above all the earth.

10Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

11Hast not thou cast us off, O God? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

12Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.
12May there be none to help him: nor none to pity his fatherless offspring.

13Through God we shall do valiantly: For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.
