1In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, let there be a holy meeting; on it you may do no field-work; let the day be marked by the blowing of horns;

1The first day also of the seventh month shall be venerable and holy unto you; you shall do no servile work therein, because it is the day of the sounding and of trumpets.

1`And in the seventh month, in the first of the month, a holy convocation ye have, ye do no servile work; a day of shouting it is to you;

2And give to the Lord a burned offering for a sweet smell; one ox, one male sheep, seven he-lambs of the first year, without any mark on them:

2And you shall offer a holocaust for a most sweet odour to the Lord, one calf of the herd, one ram and seven lambs of a year old, without blemish.

2and ye have prepared a burnt-offering, for sweet fragrance to Jehovah: one bullock, a son of the herd, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

3And their meal offering, the best meal mixed with oil, three tenth parts for an ox, two tenth parts for a male sheep,

3And for their sacrifices, three tenths of flour tempered with oil to every calf, two tenths to a ram,

3and their present, flour mixed with oil, three-tenth deals for the bullock, two-tenth deals for the ram,

4And a separate tenth part for every one of the seven lambs;

4One tenth to a lamb, which in all are seven lambs:

4and one-tenth deal for the one lamb, for the seven lambs;

5And one he-goat for a sin-offering, to take away your sin:

5And a buck goat for sin, which is offered for the expiation of the people,

5and one kid of the goats, a sin-offering, to make atonement for you;

6In addition to the burned offering of the new moon, and its meal offering, and the regular burned offering and its meal offering, and their drink offerings, as they are ordered, for a sweet smell, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

6Besides the holocaust of the first day of the month with the sacrifices thereof, and the perpetual holocaust with the accustomed libations. With the same ceremonies you shall offer a burnt sacrifice for a most sweet odour to the Lord.

6apart from the burnt-offering of the month, and its present, and the continual burnt-offering, and its present, and their libations, according to their ordinance, for sweet fragrance, a fire-offering to Jehovah.

7And on the tenth day of this seventh month there will be a holy meeting; keep yourselves from pleasure, and do no sort of work;

7The tenth day also of this seventh month shall be holy and venerable unto you, and you shall afflict your souls; you shall do no servile work therein.

7`And on the tenth of this seventh month a holy convocation ye have, and ye have humbled your souls; ye do no work;

8And give to the Lord a burned offering for a sweet smell; one ox, one male sheep, seven he-lambs of the first year: only those without any mark on them may be used:

8And you shall offer a holocaust to the Lord for a most sweet odour, one calf of the herd, one ram, and seven lambs of a year old, without blemish:

8and ye have brought near a burnt-offering to Jehovah, a sweet fragrance, one bullock, a son of the herd, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones they are for you,

9And their meal offering, the best meal mixed with oil, three tenth parts for an ox, two tenth parts for a male sheep,

9And for their sacrifices, three tenths of flour tempered with oil to every calf, two tenths to a ram,

9and their present, flour mixed with oil, three-tenth deals for the bullock, two-tenth deals for the one ram,

10A separate tenth part for every one of the seven lambs;

10The tenth of a tenth to every lamb, which are in all seven lambs:

11One he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the offering for taking away your sin, and the regular burned offering and its meal offering, and their drink offerings.

11And a buck goat for sin, besides the things that are wont to be offered for sin, for expiation, and for the perpetual holocaust with their sacrifice and libations.

11one kid of the goats, a sin-offering; apart from the sin-offering of the atonements, and the continual burnt-offering, and its present, and their libations.

12And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month let there be a holy meeting; do no field-work, and keep a feast to the Lord for seven days;

12And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, which shall be unto you holy and venerable, you shall do no servile work, but shall celebrate a solemnity to the Lord seven days.

12`And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month a holy convocation ye have; ye do no servile work; and ye have celebrated a festival to Jehovah seven days,

13And give a burned offering, an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord, thirteen oxen, two male sheep, fourteen he-lambs of the first year, all without any mark on them;

13And you shall offer a holocaust for a most sweet odour to the Lord, thirteen calves of the herd, two rams, and fourteen lambs of a year old, without blemish:

13and have brought near a burnt-offering, a fire-offering, a sweet fragrance, to Jehovah; thirteen bullocks, sons of the herd, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year; perfect ones they are;

14And their meal offering, the best meal mixed with oil, three tenth parts for every one of the thirteen oxen, two tenth parts for every male sheep,

14And for their libations three tenths of flour tempered with oil to every calf, being in all thirteen calves: and two tenths to each ram, being two rams,

14and their present, flour mixed with oil, three-tenth deals to the one bullock, for the thirteen bullocks, two-tenth deals to the one ram, for the two rams,

15And a separate tenth part for every one of the fourteen lambs;

15And the tenth of a tenth to every lamb, being in all fourteen lambs:

15and a several tenth deal to the one lamb, for the fourteen lambs,

16And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.

16And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

16and one kid of the goats, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, its present, and its libation.

17On the second day of the feast give an offering of twelve oxen, two male sheep, fourteen he-lambs of the first year, without any mark on them;

17On the second day you shall offer twelve calves of the herd, two rams and fourteen lambs of a year old, without blemish:

17`And on the second day twelve bullocks, sons of the herd, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

18And their meal offering and their drink offerings for the oxen and the sheep and the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered:

18And the sacrifices and the libations for every one, for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall duly celebrate:

18and their present, and their libations, for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the sheep, in their number, according to the ordinance;

19And one he-goat for a sin-offering in addition to the regular burned offering, and its meal offering, and their drink offerings.

19And a buck goat for a sin offering besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

19and one kid of the goats, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, and its present, and their libations.

20And on the third day eleven oxen, two male sheep, fourteen he-lambs of the first year, without any mark;

20The third day you shall offer eleven calves, two rams, and fourteen lambs of a year old, without blemish:

20`And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

21And their meal offering and drink offerings for the oxen, for the male sheep, and for the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered:

21And the sacrifices and the libations of every one for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall offer according to the rite:

21and their present, and their libations, for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the ordinance;

22And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.

22And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice, and the libation thereof.

22and one goat, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, and its present, and its libation.

23And on the fourth day ten oxen, two male sheep, fourteen he-lambs of the first year, without any mark:

23The fourth day you shall offer ten calves, two rams, and fourteen lambs of a year old, without blemish:

23`And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

24And their meal offering and their drink offerings for the oxen, for the male sheep, and for the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered.

24And the sacrifices and the libations of every one for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall celebrate in right manner:

24their present, and their libations, for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the ordinance;

25And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.

25And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

25and one kid of the goats, a sin-offering, apart from the continual burnt-offering, its present, and its libation.

26And on the fifth day nine oxen, two male sheep, fourteen he-lambs of the first year, without any mark:

26The fifth day you shall offer nine calves, two rams, and fourteen lambs of a year old, without blemish:

26`And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

27And their meal offering and their drink offerings for the oxen, for the male sheep, and for the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered:

27And the sacrifices and the libations of every one for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall celebrate according to the rite:

27and their present, and their libations, for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the ordinance;

28And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.

28And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

28and one goat, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, and its present, and its libation.

29And on the sixth day eight oxen, two male sheep, fourteen he-lambs of the first year, without any mark:

29The sixth day you shall offer eight calves, two rams, and fourteen lambs of a year old, without blemish:

29`And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

30And their meal offering and their drink offerings for the oxen, for the male sheep, and for the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered:

30And the sacrifices and the libations of every one for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall celebrate according to the rite:

30and their present, and their libations, for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the ordinance;

31And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, its meal offering, and its drink offerings.

31And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

31and one goat, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, its present, and its libation.

33And their meal offering and their drink offerings for the oxen, for the male sheep, and for the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered:

33And the sacrifices and the libations of every one for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall celebrate according to the rite:

33and their present, and their libations, for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the ordinance;

34And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, its meal offering, and its drink offering.

34And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

34and one goat, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, its present, and its libation.

35On the eighth day let there be a holy meeting: you may do no field-work;

35On the eighth day, which is most solemn, you shall do no servile work:

35`On the eighth day a restraint ye have, ye do no servile work;

36And give a burned offering, an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord: one ox, one male sheep, seven he-lambs of the first year, without any mark:

36But you shall offer a holocaust for a most sweet odour to the Lord, one calf, one ram, and seven lambs of a year old, without blemish:

36and ye have brought near a burnt-offering, a fire-offering, a sweet fragrance, to Jehovah; one bullock, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones;

37With the meal offering and the drink offerings for the ox, the male sheep, and the lambs, in relation to their number, as it is ordered:

37And the sacrifices and the libations of every one for the calves and for the rams and for the lambs you shall celebrate according to the rite:

37their present, and their libations, for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the ordinance;

38And one he-goat for a sin-offering; in addition to the regular burned offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.

38And a buck goat for sin, besides the perpetual holocaust, and the sacrifice and the libation thereof.

38and one goat, a sin-offering; apart from the continual burnt-offering, and its present, and its libation.

39These are the offerings which you are to give to the Lord at your regular feasts, in addition to the offerings for an oath, and the free offerings you give, for your burned offerings and your drink offerings and your peace-offerings.

39These things shall you offer to the Lord in your solemnities: besides your vows and voluntary oblations for holocaust, for sacrifice, for libation, and for victims of peace offerings.

39`These ye prepare to Jehovah in your appointed seasons, apart from your vows, and your free-will offerings, for your burnt-offerings, and for your presents, and for your libations, and for your peace-offerings.'

40So Moses gave the children of Israel all these directions as the Lord had given him orders.
