Leviticus 27

1And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall accomplish a vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah by thy estimation.

2Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: The man that shall have made a vow, and promised his soul to God, shall give the price according to estimation.

2Say to the children of Israel, If a man makes a special oath, you will give your decision as to the value of the persons for the Lord.

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation.

3And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

3If it be a man from twenty years old unto sixty years old, he shall give fifty sicles of silver, after the weight of the sanctuary:

3And you will put the value of a male from twenty years to sixty years old at fifty shekels of silver, by the scale of the holy place.

3And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

4And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

4If a woman, thirty.

4And if it is a female, the value will be thirty shekels.

4And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

5And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

5But from the fifth year until the twentieth, a man shall give twenty sicles: a woman ten.

5And if the person is from five to twenty years old, the value will be twenty shekels for a male, and ten for a female.

5And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

6And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

6From one month until the fifth year, for a male shall be given five sicles: for a female three.

6And if the person is from one month to five years old, then the value for a male will be five shekels of silver, and for a female three shekels.

6And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

7And if it be from sixty years old and upward; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

7A man that is sixty years old or upward, shall give fifteen sicles: a woman ten.

7And for sixty years old and over, for a male the value will be fifteen shekels, and for a female, ten.

7And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

8But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability of him that vowed shall the priest value him.

8If he be poor, and not able to pay the estimation, he shall stand before the priest: and as much as he shall value him at, and see him able to pay, so much shall he give.

8But if he is poorer than the value which you have put on him, then let him be taken to the priest, and the priest will put a value on him, such as it is possible for him to give.

8But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

9And if it be a beast, whereof men offer an oblation unto Jehovah, all that any man giveth of such unto Jehovah shall be holy.

9But a beast that may be sacrificed to the Lord, if any one shall vow, shall be holy,

9And if it is a beast of which men make offerings to the Lord, whatever any man gives of such to the Lord will be holy.

9And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the Lord, all that any man giveth of such unto the Lord shall be holy.

10He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy.

10And cannot be changed: that is to say, neither a better for a worse, nor a worse for a better. And if he shall change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be consecrated to the Lord.

10It may not be changed in any way, a good given for a bad, or a bad for a good; if one beast is changed for another, the two will be holy.

10He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

11And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer an oblation unto Jehovah, then he shall set the beast before the priest;

11An unclean beast, which cannot be sacrificed to the Lord, if any man shall vow, shall be brought before the priest:

11And if it is any unclean beast, of which offerings are not made to the Lord, then let him take the beast before the priest;

11And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

12and the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou the priest valuest it, so shall it be.

12Who judging whether it be good or bad, shall set the price.

12And let the priest put a value on it, if it is good or bad; whatever value the priest puts on it, so will it be.

12And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

13But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

13Which, if he that offereth it will give, he shall add above the estimation the fifth part.

13But if he has a desire to get it back for himself, let him give a fifth more than your value.

13But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

14And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto Jehovah, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

14If a man shall vow his house, and sanctify it to the Lord, the priest shall consider it, whether it be good or bad: and it shall be sold according to the price, which he shall appoint.

14And if a man has given his house as holy to the Lord, then the priest will put a value on it, if it is good or bad; as the priest gives decision so will the value be fixed.

14And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the Lord, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

15And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

15But if he that vowed, will redeem it, he shall give the fifth part of the estimation over and above: and shall have the house.

15And if the owner has a desire to get back his house, let him give a fifth more than your value, and it will be his.

15And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

16And if a man shall sanctify unto Jehovah part of the field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the sowing thereof: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

16And if he vow the field of his possession, and consecrate it to the Lord, the price shall be rated according to the measure of the seed. If the ground be sown with thirty bushels of barley, let it be sold for fifty sicles of silver.

16And if a man gives to the Lord part of the field which is his property, then let your value be in relation to the seed which is planted in it; a measure of barley grain will be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

16And if a man shall sanctify unto the Lord some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

17If he sanctify his field from the year of jubilee, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

17If he vow his field immediately from the year of jubilee that is beginning: as much as it may be worth, at so much it shall be rated.

17If he gives his field from the year of Jubilee, the value will be fixed by your decision.

17If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

18But if he sanctify his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain unto the year of jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from thy estimation.

18But if some time after, the priest shall reckon the money according to the number of years that remain until the jubilee, and the price shall be abated.

18But if he gives his field after the year of Jubilee, the amount of the money will be worked out by the priest in relation to the number of years till the coming year of Jubilee, and the necessary amount will be taken off your value.

18But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

19And if he that sanctified the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

19And if he that had vowed, will redeem his field, he shall add the fifth part of the money of the estimation, and shall possess it.

19And if the man who has given the field has a desire to get it back, let him give a fifth more than the price at which it was valued and it will be his.

19And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

20And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more:

20And if he will not redeem it, but it be sold to any other man, he that vowed it, may not redeem it any more.

20But if he has no desire to get it back, or if he has given it for a price to another man, it may not be got back again.

20And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

21but the field, when it goeth out in the jubilee, shall be holy unto Jehovah, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.

21For when the day of jubilee cometh, it shall be sanctified to the Lord, and as a possession consecrated, pertaineth to the right of the priest.

21But the field, when it becomes free at the year of Jubilee, will be holy to the Lord, as a field given under oath: it will be the property of the priest.

21But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the Lord, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.

22And if he sanctify unto Jehovah a field which he hath bought, which is not of the field of his possession;

22If a field that was bought, and not of a man's ancestors' possession, be sanctified to the Lord:

22And if a man gives to the Lord a field which he has got for money from another, which is not part of his heritage;

22And if a man sanctify unto the Lord a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

23then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation unto the year of jubilee: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto Jehovah.

23The priest shall reckon the price according to the number of years, unto the jubilee. And he that had vowed, shall give that to the Lord.

23Then the value fixed by you up to the year of Jubilee will be worked out for him by the priest, and in that day he will give the amount of your value as holy to the Lord.

23Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.

24In the year of jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongeth.

24But in the jubilee, it shall return to the former owner, who had sold it, and had it in the lot of his possession.

24In the year of Jubilee the field will go back to him from whom he got it, that is, to him whose heritage it was.

24In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

25And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

25All estimation shall be made according to the sicle of the sanctuary. A sicle hath twenty obols.

25And let all your values be based on the shekel of the holy place, that is, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

26Only the firstling among beasts, which is made a firstling to Jehovah, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox or sheep, it is Jehovah’s.

26The firstborn, which belong to the Lord, no man may sanctify and vow: whether it be bullock, or sheep, they are the Lord's.

26But a man may not give by oath to the Lord the first-fruits of cattle which are offered to the Lord: if it is an ox or a sheep it is the Lord's.

26Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the Lord’s firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the Lord’s.

27And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall ransom it according to thine estimation, and shall add unto it the fifth part thereof: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

27And if it be an unclean beast, he that offereth it shall redeem it, according to thy estimation, and shall add the fifth part of the price. If he will not redeem it, it shall be sold to another for how much soever it was estimated by thee.

27And if it is an unclean beast, then the owner of it may give money to get it back, in agreement with the value fixed by you, by giving a fifth more; or if it is not taken back, let it be given for money in agreement with your valuing.

27And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

28Notwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto Jehovah of all that he hath, whether of man or beast, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto Jehovah.

28Any thing that is devoted to the Lord, whether it be man, or beast, or field, shall not be sold: neither may it be redeemed. Whatsoever is once consecrated shall be holy of holies to the Lord.

28But nothing which a man has given completely to the Lord, out of all his property, of man or beast, or of the land which is his heritage, may be given away or got back in exchange for money; anything completely given is most holy to the Lord.

28Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the Lord of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord.

29No one devoted, that shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

29And any consecration that is offered by man, shall not be redeemed, but dying shall die.

29Any man given completely to the Lord may not be got back: he is certainly to be put to death.

29None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

30And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah’s: it is holy unto Jehovah.

30All tithes of the land, whether of corn, or of the fruits of trees, are the Lord's, and are sanctified to him.

30And every tenth part of the land, of the seed planted, or of the fruit of trees, is holy to the Lord.

30And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.

31And if a man will redeem aught of his tithe, he shall add unto it the fifth part thereof.

32And all the tithe of the herd or the flock, whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto Jehovah.

32Of all the tithes of oxen, and sheep, and goats, that pass under the shepherd's rod, every tenth that cometh shall be sanctified to the Lord.

32And a tenth part of the herd and of the flock, whatever goes under the rod of the valuer, will be holy to the Lord.

32And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.

33He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

33It shall not be chosen neither good nor bad, neither shall it be changed for another. If any man change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be sanctified to the Lord, and shall not be redeemed.

33He may not make search to see if it is good or bad, or make any changes in it; and if he makes exchange of it for another, the two will be holy; he will not get them back again.
