1And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

2Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee the finest and clearest oil of olives, to furnish the lamps continually,

2Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to light the lamp continually.

2`Command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure olive oil, beaten, for the lamp, to cause a light to go up continually;

3Without the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.

3Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall set them from evening until morning before the Lord, by a perpetual service and rite in your generations.

3Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron dress it from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations.

3at the outside of the vail of the testimony in the tent of meeting doth Aaron arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah continually--a statute age-during to your generations;

4He shall keep in order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before Jehovah continually.

4They shall be set upon the most pure candlestick before the Lord continually.

4Upon the pure candlestick shall he arrange the lamps before Jehovah continually.

4by the pure candlestick he doth arrange the lights before Jehovah continually.

5And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth parts of an ephah shall be in one cake.

5Thou shalt take also fine flour, and shalt bake twelve loaves thereof, two tenths shall be in every loaf.

5And thou shalt take fine wheaten flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof; each cake shall be of two tenths.

5`And thou hast taken flour, and hast baked twelve cakes with it, two tenth deals are in the one cake,

6And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

6And thou shalt set them six and six, one against another, upon the most clean table before the Lord.

6And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

6and thou hast set them two ranks (six in the rank) on the pure table before Jehovah,

7And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

7And thou shalt put upon them the clearest frankincense, that the bread may be for a memorial of the oblation of the Lord.

7And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row; and it shall be a bread of remembrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.

7and thou hast put on the rank pure frankincense, and it hath been to the bread for a memorial, a fire-offering to Jehovah.

8Every sabbath day he shall set it in order before Jehovah continually; it is on the behalf of the children of Israel, an everlasting covenant.

8Every sabbath they shall be changed before the Lord: being received of the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

8Every sabbath day he shall arrange it before Jehovah continually, on the part of the children of Israel: [it is] an everlasting covenant.

8`On each sabbath-day he arrangeth it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel--a covenant age-during;

9And it shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire by a perpetual statute.

9And they shall be Aaron's and his sons', that they may eat them in the holy place: because it is most holy of the sacrifices of the Lord by a perpetual right.

9And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him of Jehovah's offerings by fire: [it is] an everlasting statute.

9and it hath been to Aaron, and to his sons, and they have eaten it in the holy place, for it <FI>is<Fi> most holy to him, from the fire-offerings of Jehovah--a statute age-during.'

10And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp:

10And behold there went out the son of a woman of Israel, whom she had of an Egyptian, among the children of Israel: and fell at words in the camp with a man of Israel.

10And the son of an Israelitish woman — but withal the son of an Egyptian, — went out among the children of Israel; and this son of the Israelitess and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

10And a son of an Israelitish woman goeth out (and he <FI>is<Fi> son of an Egyptian man), in the midst of the sons of Israel, and strive in the camp do the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel,

11and the son of the Israelitish woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

11And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was brought to Moses. (Now his mother was called Salumith, the daughter of Dabri, of the tribe of Dan.)

11and the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

11and the son of the Israelitish woman execrateth the Name, and revileth; and they bring him in unto Moses; and his mother's name <FI>is<Fi> Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;

12And they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of Jehovah.

12And they put him into prison, till they might know what the Lord would command.

12And they confined him, that they might decide at the mouth of Jehovah.

12and he causeth him to rest in charge--to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.

13And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

13And the Lord spoke to Moses,

13And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

13And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

14Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

14Saying: Bring forth the blasphemer without the camp: and let them that heard him, put their hands upon his head: and let all the people stone him.

14Lead the reviler outside the camp; and all that heard [him] shall lay their hands upon his head, and the whole assembly shall stone him.

14`Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.

15And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

15And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel: The man that curseth his God, shall bear his sin:

15And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Every one when he revileth hisGod shall bear his sin.

15`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, When any man revileth his God--then he hath borne his sin;

16And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the sojourner, as the home-born, when he blasphemeth the name of Jehovah, shall be put to death.

16And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die. All the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger. He that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die.

16And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah shall certainly be put to death; all the assembly shall certainly stone him; as well the stranger as he that is home-born, when he blasphemeth the Name, shall be put to death.

16and he who is execrating the name of Jehovah is certainly put to death; all the company do certainly cast stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, is put to death.

17And he that smiteth any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

17He that striketh and killeth a man: dying let him die.

17And if any one smiteth any man mortally, he shall certainly be put to death.

17`And when a man smiteth any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.

18And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

18He that killeth a beast, shall make it good that is to say, shall give beast for beast.

18And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

18`And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, body for body.

19And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

19He that giveth a blemish to any of his neighbours: as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:

19And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour, as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

19`And when a man putteth a blemish in his fellow, as he hath done so it is done to him;

20breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be rendered unto him.

20Breach for breach, eye for ere, tooth for tooth, shall he restore. What blemish he gave, the like shall he be compelled to suffer.

20breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him.

20breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he putteth a blemish in a man so it is done in him.

21And he that killeth a beast shall make it good: and he that killeth a man shall be put to death.

21He that striketh a beast, shall render another. He that striketh a man shall be punished.

21He that smiteth a beast [mortally] shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man [mortally] shall be put to death.

21`And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth <FI>the life of<Fi> man is put to death;

22Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the sojourner, as for the home-born: for I am Jehovah your God.

22Let there be equal judgment among you, whether he be a stranger, or a native that offends: because I am the Lord your God.

22Ye shall have one law: as the stranger, so the home-born; for I am Jehovah yourGod.

22one judgment is to you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I <FI>am<Fi> Jehovah your God.'

23And Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and they bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones; and the sons of Israel have done as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
