1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2Behold, I have called by name Beseleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Juda,

2`See, I have called by name Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

3And I have filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding, and knowledge in all manner of work,

3and I fill him <FI>with<Fi> the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work,

4To devise whatsoever may be artificially made of gold, and silver, and brass,

4to devise devices to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

5Of marble, and precious stones, and variety of wood.

5and in graving of stone for settings, and in graving of wood to work in all work.

6And I have given him for his companion Ooliab, the son of Achisamech, of the tribe of Dan. And I have put wisdom in the heart of every skilful man, that they may make all things which I have commanded thee,

6`And I, lo, I have given with him Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and in the heart of every wise-hearted one I have given wisdom, and they have made all that which I have commanded thee.

7The tabernacle of the covenant, and the ark of the testimony, and the propitiatory, that is over it, and all the vessels of the tabernacle,

7`The tent of meeting, and the ark of testimony, and the mercy-seat which <FI>is<Fi> on it, and all the vessels of the tent,

8And the table and the vessels thereof, the most pure candlestick with the vessels thereof, and the altars of incense,

8and the table and its vessels, and the pure candlestick and all its vessels, and the altar of the perfume,

9And of holocaust, and all their vessels, the laver with its foot,

9and the altar of the burnt-offering and all its vessels, and the laver and its base,

10The holy vestments in the ministry for Aaron the priest, and for his sons, that they may execute their office, about the sacred things:

10and the coloured garments, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, for acting as priests in;

11The oil of unction, and the incense of spices in the sanctuary, all things which I have commanded thee, shall they make.

11and the anointing oil, and the perfume of the spices for the sanctuary; according to all that I have commanded thee--they do.'

12And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

12And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

13Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: See that you keep my sabbath; because it is a sign between me and you in your generations that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctify you.

13`And thou, speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Only, My sabbaths ye do keep, for it <FI>is<Fi> a sign between Me and you, to your generations, to know that I, Jehovah, am sanctifying you;

14keep you my sabbath: for it is holy unto you: he that shall profane it, shall be put to death: he that shall do any work in it, his soul shall perish out of the midst of his people.

14and ye have kept the sabbath, for it <FI>is<Fi> holy to you, he who is polluting it is certainly put to death--for any who doeth work in it--that person hath even been cut off from the midst of his people.

15Six days shall you do work: in the seventh day is the sabbath, the rest holy to the Lord. Every one that shall do any work on this day, shall die.

15`Six days is work done, and in the seventh day <FI>is<Fi> a sabbath of holy rest to Jehovah; any who doeth work in the sabbath-day is certainly put to death,

16Let the children of Israel keep the sabbath, and celebrate it in their generations. It is an everlasting covenant

16and the sons of Israel have observed the sabbath; to keep the sabbath to their generations <FI>is<Fi> a covenant age-during,

17Between me and the children of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.

17between Me and the sons of Israel it <FI>is<Fi> a sign--to the age; for six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and in the seventh day He hath ceased, and is refreshed.'
