1And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: take one young bullock and two rams without blemish,
1This is what you are to do to make them holy, to do the work of priests to me: Take one young ox and two male sheep, without any mark on them,
1And thou shalt also do this, that they may be consecrated to me in priesthood. Take a calf from the herd, and two rams without blemish,
1`And this <FI>is<Fi> the thing which thou dost to them, to hallow them, for being priests to Me: Take one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams, perfect ones,
2and unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened mingled with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of fine wheaten flour shalt thou make them.
2And unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and thin unleavened cakes on which oil has been put, made of the best bread-meal;
2And unleavened bread, and a cake without leaven, tempered with oil, wafers also unleavened, anointed with oil: thou shalt make them all of wheaten flour.
2and bread unleavened, and cakes unleavened anointed with oil, of fine wheaten flour thou dost make them,
3And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
3Put these in a basket and take them, with the ox and the two sheep.
3And thou shalt put them in a basket, and offer them: and the calf and the two rams.
3and thou hast put them on one basket, and hast brought them near in the basket, also the bullock and the two rams.
4And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water.
4And let Aaron and his sons come to the door of the Tent of meeting, and there let them be washed with water.
4And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. And when thou hast washed the father and his sons with water,
4`And Aaron and his sons thou dost bring near unto the opening of the tent of meeting, and hast bathed them with water;
5And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod;
5Take the robes, and put the coat and the dress and the ephod and the priest's bag on Aaron; put the band of needlework round him,
5Thou shalt clothe Aaron with his vestments, that is, with the linen garment and the tunic, and the ephod and the rational, which thou shalt gird with the girdle.
5and thou hast taken the garments, and hast clothed Aaron with the coat, and the upper robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and hast girded him with the girdle of the ephod,
6and thou shalt set the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.
6And let the head-dress be placed on his head and the holy crown on the head-dress.
6And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and the holy plate upon the mitre,
6and hast set the mitre on his head, and hast put the holy crown on the mitre,
7Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
7Then take the oil and put it on his head.
7And thou shalt pour the oil of unction upon his head: and by this rite shall he be consecrated.
7and hast taken the anointing oil, and hast poured <FI>it<Fi> on his head, and hast anointed him.
8And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.
8And take his sons and put their robes on them;
8Thou shalt bring his sons also, and shalt put on them the linen tunics, and gird them with a girdle:
8`And his sons thou dost bring near, and hast clothed them <FI>with<Fi> coats,
9And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and bind head-tires on them: and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.
9And put the linen bands round Aaron and his sons, and the head-dresses on them, to make them priests by my order for ever: so you are to make Aaron and his sons holy to me.
9To wit, Aaron and his children, and thou shalt put mitres upon them; and they shall be priests to me by a perpetual ordinance. After thou shalt have consecrated their hands,
9and hast girded them <FI>with<Fi> a girdle (Aaron and his sons), and hast bound on them bonnets; and the priesthood hath been theirs by a statute age-during, and thou hast consecrated the hand of Aaron, and the hand of his sons,
10And thou shalt bring the bullock before the tent of meeting: and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock.
10Then let the ox be taken in front of the Tent of meeting: and let Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head.
10Thou shalt present also the calf before the tabernacle of the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon his head,
10and hast brought near the bullock before the tent of meeting, and Aaron hath laid--his sons also--their hands on the head of the bullock.
11And thou shalt kill the bullock before Jehovah, at the door of the tent of meeting.
11And you are to put the ox to death before the Lord at the door of the Tent of meeting.
11And thou shalt kill him in the sight of the Lord, beside the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.
11`And thou hast slaughtered the bullock before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting,
12And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger; and thou shalt pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.
12Then take some of the blood of the ox, and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, draining out all the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
12And taking some of the blood of the calf, thou shalt put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and the rest of the blood thou shalt pour at the bottom thereof.
12and hast taken of the blood of the bullock, and hast put <FI>it<Fi> on the horns of the altar with thy finger, and all the blood thou dost pour out at the foundation of the altar;
13And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul upon the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
13And take all the fat covering the inside of the ox, and the fat joining the liver and the two kidneys with the fat round them, and let them be burned on the altar;
13Thou shalt take also all the fat that covereth the entrails, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and shalt offer a burn offering upon the altar:
13and thou hast taken all the fat which is covering the inwards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat which <FI>is<Fi> on them, and hast made perfume on the altar;
14But the flesh of the bullock, and its skin, and its dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin-offering.
14But the flesh of the ox and its skin and its waste parts are to be burned outside the circle of the tents, for it is a sin-offering.
14But the flesh of the calf, and the hide and the dung, thou shalt burn abroad, without the camp, because it is for sin.
14and the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, thou dost burn with fire at the outside of the camp; it <FI>is<Fi> a sin-offering.
15Thou shalt also take the one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.
15Then take one of the sheep, and let Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head.
15Thou shalt take also one ram, upon the head whereof Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.
15`And the one ram thou dost take, and Aaron and his sons have laid their hands on the head of the ram,
16And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take its blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.
16Then let it be put to death, so that the sides of the altar are marked with its blood.
16And when thou hast killed him, thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and pour round about the altar.
16and thou hast slaughtered the ram, and hast taken its blood, and hast sprinkled <FI>it<Fi> on the altar round about,
17And thou shalt cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its inwards, and its legs, and put them with its pieces, and with its head.
17Then the sheep is to be cut up into its parts, and after washing its legs and its inside parts, you are to put them with the parts and the head,
17And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and having washed his entrails and feet, thou shalt put them upon the flesh that is cut in pieces, and upon his head.
17and the ram thou dost cut into its pieces, and hast washed its inwards, and its legs, and hast put <FI>them<Fi> on its pieces, and on its head;
18And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering unto Jehovah; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.
18And let them all be burned on the altar as a burned offering to the Lord: a sweet smell, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
18And thou shalt offer the whole ram for a burnt offering upon the altar: it is an oblation to the Lord, a most sweet savour of the victim of the Lord.
18and thou hast made perfume with the whole ram on the altar. It <FI>is<Fi> a burnt-offering to Jehovah, a sweet fragrance; a fire-offering it <FI>is<Fi> to Jehovah.
19And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.
19Then take the other sheep; and after Aaron and his sons have put their hands on its head,
19Thou shalt take also the other ram, upon whose head Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.
19`And thou hast taken the second ram, and Aaron hath laid--his sons also--their hands on the head of the ram,
20Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of its blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
20You are to put the sheep to death, and take some of its blood and put it on the point of Aaron's right ear, and of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and the great toes of their right feet, dropping the rest of the blood on the sides of the altar.
20And when thou hast sacrificed him, thou shalt take of his blood, and put upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron and of his sons, and upon the thumbs and great toes of their right hand and foot, and thou shalt pour the blood upon the altar round about.
20and thou hast slaughtered the ram, and hast taken of its blood, and hast put on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot, and hast sprinkled the blood on the altar round about;
21And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
21Then take some of the blood on the altar, and the oil, and put it on Aaron and his robes and on his sons and on their robes, so that he and his robes and his sons and their robes may be made holy.
21And when thou hast taken of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the oil of unction, thou shalt sprinkle Aaron and his vesture, his sons and their vestments. And after they and their vestments are consecrated,
21and thou hast taken of the blood which <FI>is<Fi> on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and hast sprinkled on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him, and he hath been hallowed, he, and his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
22Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),
22Then take the fat of the sheep, the fat tail, the fat covering the insides, and the fat joining the liver and the two kidneys with the fat round them, and the right leg; for by the offering of this sheep they are to be marked out as priests:
22Thou shalt take the fat of the ram, and the rump, and the fat that covereth the lungs, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder, because it is the ram of consecration:
22`And thou hast taken from the ram the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat which is covering the inwards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat which <FI>is<Fi> on them, and the right leg, for it <FI>is<Fi> a ram of consecration,
23and one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Jehovah:
23And take one bit of bread and one cake of oiled bread and one thin cake out of the basket of unleavened bread which is before the Lord:
23And one roll of bread, a cake tempered with oil, a wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread, which is set in the sight of the Lord:
23and one round cake of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one thin cake out of the basket of the unleavened things which <FI>is<Fi> before Jehovah.
24and thou shalt put the whole upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and shalt wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah.
24And put them all on the hands of Aaron and of his sons, to be waved for a wave offering before the Lord.
24And thou shalt put all upon the hands of Aaron and of his sons, and shalt sanctify them elevating before the Lord.
24`And thou hast set the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and hast waved them--a wave-offering before Jehovah;
25And thou shalt take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar upon the burnt-offering, for a sweet savor before Jehovah: it is an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.
25Then take them from their hands, and let them be burned on the burned offering on the altar, a sweet smell before the Lord, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
25And thou shalt take all from their hands; and shalt burn them upon the altar for a holocaust, a most sweet savour in the sight of the Lord, because it is his oblation.
25and thou hast taken them out of their hand, and hast made perfume on the altar beside the burnt-offering, for sweet fragrance before Jehovah; a fire-offering it <FI>is<Fi> to Jehovah.
26And thou shalt take the breast of Aaron’s ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave-offering before Jehovah: and it shall be thy portion.
26Then take the breast of Aaron's sheep, waving it before the Lord; and it is to be your part of the offering.
26Thou shalt take also the breast of the ram, wherewith Aaron was consecrated, and elevating it thou shalt sanctify it before the Lord, and it shall fall to thy share.
26`And thou hast taken the breast from the ram of the consecration which <FI>is<Fi> for Aaron, and hast waved it--a wave-offering before Jehovah, and it hath become thy portion;
27And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave-offering, and the thigh of the heave-offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:
27So you are to make holy the breast of the sheep which is waved and the leg which is lifted up on high, that is, of the sheep which is offered for Aaron and his sons;
27And thou shalt sanctify both the consecrated breast, and the shoulder that thou didst separate of the ram,
27and thou hast sanctified the breast of the wave-offering, and the leg of the heave-offering, which hath been waved, and which hath been lifted up from the ram of the consecration, of that which <FI>is<Fi> for Aaron, and of that which <FI>is<Fi> for his sons;
28and it shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion for ever from the children of Israel; for it is a heave-offering: and it shall be a heave-offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, even their heave-offering unto Jehovah.
28And it will be their part as a right for ever from the children of Israel, it is a special offering from the children of Israel, made from their peace-offerings, a special offering lifted up to the Lord.
28Wherewith Aaron was consecrated and his sons, and they shall fall to Aaron's share, and his sons', by a perpetual right from the children of Israel: because they are the choicest and the beginnings of their peace victims which they offer to the Lord.
28and it hath been for Aaron and for his sons, by a statute age-during from the sons of Israel, for it <FI>is<Fi> a heave-offering; and it is a heave offering from the sons of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings--their heave-offering to Jehovah.
29And the holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.
29And Aaron's holy robes will be used by his sons after him; they will put them on when they are made priests.
29And the holy vesture, which Aaron shall use, his sons shall have after him, that they may be anointed, and their hands consecrated in it.
29`And the holy garments which are Aaron's, are for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to consecrate in them their hand;
30Seven days shall the son that is priest in his stead put them on, when he cometh into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.
30For seven days the son who becomes priest in his place will put them on when he comes into the Tent of meeting to do the work of the holy place.
30He of his sons that shall be appointed high priest in his stead, and that shall enter into the tabernacle of the testimony to minister in the sanctuary, shall wear it seven days.
30seven days doth the priest in his stead (of his sons) put them on, when he goeth in unto the tent of meeting, to minister in the sanctuary.
31And thou shalt take the ram of consecration, and boil its flesh in a holy place.
31Then take the sheep of the wave offering and let its flesh be cooked in water in a holy place.
31And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and shalt boil the flesh thereof in the holy place:
31`And the ram of the consecration thou dost take, and hast boiled its flesh in the holy place;
32And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting.
32And let Aaron and his sons make a meal of it, with the bread in the basket, at the door of the Tent of meeting.
32And Aaron and his sons shall eat it. The loaves also, that are in the basket, they shall eat in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony,
32and Aaron hath eaten--his sons also--the flesh of the ram, and the bread which <FI>is<Fi> in the basket, at the opening of the tent of meeting;
33And they shall eat those things wherewith atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.
33All those things which were used as offerings to take away sin, and to make them holy to be priests, they may have for food: but no one who is not a priest may have them, for they are holy food.
33That it may be an atoning sacrifice, and the hands of the offerers may be sanctified. A stranger shall not eat of them, because they are holy.
33and they have eaten those things by which there is atonement to consecrate their hand, to sanctify them; and a stranger doth not eat--for they <FI>are<Fi> holy;
34And if aught of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
34And if any of the flesh of the offering or of the bread is over till the morning, let it be burned with fire; it is not to be used for food, for it is holy.
34And if there remain of the consecrated flesh, or of the bread, till the morning, thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: they shall not be eaten, because they are sanctified.
34and if there be left of the flesh of the consecration or of the bread till the morning, then thou hast burned that which is left with fire; it is not eaten, for it <FI>is<Fi> holy.
35And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
35All these things you are to do to Aaron and his sons as I have given you orders: for seven days the work of making them priests is to go on.
35All that I have commanded thee, thou shalt do unto Aaron and his sons. Seven days shalt thou consecrate their hands:
35`And thou hast done thus to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded thee; seven days thou dost consecrate their hand;
36And every day shalt thou offer the bullock of sin-offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou makest atonement for it; and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
36Every day an ox is to be offered as a sin-offering, to take away sins: and by this offering on it, you will make the altar clean from sin; and you are to put oil on it and make it holy.
36And thou shalt offer a calf for sin every day for expiation. And thou shalt cleanse the altar when thou hast offered the victim of expiation, and shalt anoint it to sanctify it.
36and a bullock, a sin-offering, thou dost prepare daily for the atonements, and thou hast atoned for the altar, in thy making atonement on it, and hast anointed it to sanctify it;
37Seven days thou shalt make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.
37For seven days you are to make offerings for the altar and make it holy, so that it may become completely holy, and anything touching it will become holy.
37Seven days shalt thou expiate the altar and sanctify it, and it shall be most holy. Every one, that shall touch it, shall be holy.
37seven days thou dost make atonement for the altar, and hast sanctified it, and the altar hath been most holy; all that is coming against the altar is holy.
38Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually.
38Now this is the offering which you are to make on the altar: two lambs in their first year, every day regularly.
38This is what thou shalt sacrifice upon the altar: Two lambs of a year old every day continually,
38`And this <FI>is<Fi> that which thou dost prepare on the altar; two lambs, sons of a year, daily continually;
39The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
39One lamb is to be offered in the morning and the other in the evening:
39One lamb in the morning, and another in the evening.
39the one lamb thou dost prepare in the morning, and the second lamb thou dost prepare between the evenings;
40and with the one lamb a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering.
40And with the one lamb, a tenth part of an ephah of the best meal, mixed with a fourth part of a hin of clear oil; and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering.
40With one lamb a tenth part of flour tempered with beaten oil, of the fourth part of a hin, and wine for libation of the same measure.
40and a tenth <FI>deal<Fi> of fine flour, mixed with beaten oil, a fourth part of a hin, and a libation, a fourth part of a hin, of wine, <FI>is<Fi> for the one lamb.
41And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meal-offering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering thereof, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.
41And the other lamb is to be offered in the evening, and with it the same meal offering and drink offering, for a sweet smell, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
41And the other lamb thou shalt offer in the evening, according to the rite of the morning oblation, and according to what we have said, for a savour of sweetness:
41`And the second lamb thou dost prepare between the evenings; according to the present of the morning, and according to its libation, thou dost prepare for it, for sweet fragrance, a fire-offering, to Jehovah: --
42It shall be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, where I will meet with you, to speak there unto thee.
42This is to be a regular burned offering made from generation to generation, at the door of the Tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will come face to face with you and have talk with you.
42It is a sacrifice to the Lord, by perpetual oblation unto your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord, where I will appoint to speak unto thee.
42a continual burnt-offering for your generations, at the opening of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah, whither I am met with you, to speak unto thee there,
43And there I will meet with the children of Israel; and the Tent shall be sanctified by my glory.
43There I will come face to face with the children of Israel, and the Tent will be made holy by my glory
43And there will I command the children of Israel, and the altar shall be sanctified by my glory.
43and I have met there with the sons of Israel, and it hath been sanctified by My honour.
44And I will sanctify the tent of meeting, and the altar: Aaron also and his sons will I sanctify, to minister to me in the priest’s office.
44I will make holy the Tent of meeting and the altar: and Aaron and his sons I will make holy, to be my priests
44I will sanctify also the tabernacle of the testimony with the altar, and Aaron with his sons, to do the office of priesthood unto me.
44`And I have sanctified the tent of meeting, and the altar, and Aaron and his sons I sanctify for being priests to Me,
45And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
45Among the children of Israel I will make my living-place, and I will be their God.
45And I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel, and will be their God:
45and I have tabernacled in the midst of the sons of Israel, and have become their God,
46And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Jehovah their God.
46And they will see that I am the Lord their God, who took them out of the land of Egypt, so that I might be ever with them: I am the Lord their God.
46And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who have brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might abide among them, I the Lord their God.
46and they have known that I <FI>am<Fi> Jehovah their God, who hath brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I may tabernacle in their midst; I <FI>am<Fi> Jehovah their God.
