1And thou shalt make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

1And make an altar of hard wood, a square altar, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high.

1`And thou hast made the altar of shittim wood, five cubits the length, and five cubits the breadth--the altar is square--and three cubits its height.

1Thou shalt make also an altar of setim wood, which shall be five cubits long, and as many broad, that is four square, and three cubits high.

2And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof; the horns thereof shall be of one piece with it: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.

2Put horns at the four angles of it, made of the same, plating it all with brass.

2And thou hast made its horns on its four corners, its horns are of the same, and thou hast overlaid it <FI>with<Fi> brass.

2And there shall be horns at the four corners of the same: and thou shalt cover it with brass.

3And thou shalt make its pots to take away its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its flesh-hooks, and its firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.

3And make all its vessels, the baskets for taking away the dust of the fire, the spades and basins and meat-hooks and fire-trays, of brass.

3And thou hast made its pots to remove its ashes, and its shovels, and its bowls, and its forks, and its fire-pans, even all its vessels thou dost make of brass.

3And thou shalt make for the uses thereof pans to receive the ashes, and tongs and fleshhooks, and firepans: all its vessels thou shalt make of brass.

4And thou shalt make for it a grating of network of brass: and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.

4And make a network of brass, with four brass rings at its four angles.

4`And thou hast made for it a grate of net-work of brass, and hast made on the net four rings of brass on its four extremities,

4And a grate of brass in manner of a net; at the four corners of which, shall be four rings of brass,

5And thou shalt put it under the ledge round the altar beneath, that the net may reach halfway up the altar.

5And put the network under the shelf round the altar so that the net comes half-way up the altar.

5and hast put it under the compass of the altar beneath, and the net hath been unto the middle of the altar.

5Which thou shalt put under the hearth of the altar: and the grate shall be even to the midst of the altar.

6And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.

6And make rods for the altar, of hard wood, plated with brass.

6`And thou hast made staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and hast overlaid them <FI>with<Fi> brass.

6Thou shalt make also two bars for the altar, of setim wood, which thou shalt cover with plates of brass:

7And the staves thereof shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, in bearing it.

7And put the rods through the rings at the two opposite sides of the altar, for lifting it.

7And the staves have been brought into the rings, and the staves have been on the two sides of the altar in bearing it.

7And thou shalt draw them through rings, and they shall be on both sides of the altar to carry it.

8Hollow with planks shalt thou make it: as it hath been showed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.

8The altar is to be hollow, boarded in with wood; make it from the design which you saw on the mountain.

8Hollow with boards thou dost make it, as it hath been shewed thee in the mount, so do they make <FI>it<Fi> .

8Thou shalt not make it solid, but empty and hollow in the inside, as it was shewn thee in the mount.

9And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side:

9And let there be an open space round the House, with hangings for its south side of the best linen, a hundred cubits long.

9`And thou hast made the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward, hangings for the court of twined linen, a hundred by the cubit <FI>is<Fi> the length for the one side,

9Thou shalt make also the court of the tabernacle, in the south side whereof southward there shall be hangings of fine twisted linen of a hundred cubits long for one side.

10and the pillars thereof shall be twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

10Their twenty pillars and their twenty bases are to be of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their bands are to be of silver.

10and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets <FI>are<Fi> of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets <FI>are<Fi> of silver;

10And twenty pillars with as many sockets of brass, the heads of which, with their engraving, shall be of silver.

11And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, and the pillars thereof twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets, of silver.

11And on the north side in the same way, hangings a hundred cubits long, with twenty pillars of brass on bases of brass; their hooks and their bands are to be of silver.

11and so for the north side in length, hangings of a hundred <FI>cubits<Fi> in length, and its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets <FI>are<Fi> of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets <FI>are<Fi> of silver.

11In like manner also on the north side there shall be hangings of a hundred cubits long, twenty pillars, and as many sockets of brass, and their heads with their engraving of silver.

12And for the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits; their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.

12And for the open space on the west side, the hangings are to be fifty cubits wide, with ten pillars and ten bases;

12`And <FI>for<Fi> the breadth of the court at the west side <FI>are<Fi> hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.

12But in the breadth of the court, that looketh to the west, there shall be hangings of fifty cubits, and ten pillars, and as many sockets.

13And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.

13And on the east side the space is to be fifty cubits wide.

13And <FI>for<Fi> the breadth of the court at the east side, eastward, <FI>are<Fi> fifty cubits.

13In that breadth also of the court, which looketh to the east, there shall be fifty cubits.

14The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

16And in the entrance of the court there shall be made a hanging of twenty cubits of violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, with embroidered work: it shall have four pillars, with as many sockets.

17All the pillars of the court round about shall be filleted with silver; their hooks of silver, and their sockets of brass.

17All the pillars round the open space are to have silver bands, with hooks of silver and bases of brass.

17All the pillars of the court round about <FI>are<Fi> filleted <FI>with<Fi> silver, their pegs <FI>are<Fi> silver, and their sockets brass.

18`The length of the court <FI>is<Fi> a hundred by the cubit, and the breadth fifty by fifty, and the height five cubits, of twined linen, and their sockets <FI>are<Fi> brass,

18In length the court shall take up a hundred cubits, in breadth fifty, the height shall be of five cubits, and it shall be made of fine twisted linen, and shall have sockets of brass.

19All the instruments of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.

19All the instruments for the work of the House, and all its nails, and the nails of the open space are to be of brass.

19even all the vessels of the tabernacle, in all its service, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, <FI>are<Fi> brass.

19All the vessels of the tabernacle for all uses and ceremonies, and the pins both of it and of the court, thou shalt make of brass.

20And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

20Give orders to the children of Israel to give you clear olive oil for the lights, so that a light may be burning there at all times.

20`And thou--thou dost command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause the lamp to go up continually;

20Command the children of Israel that they bring thee the purest oil of the olives, and beaten with a pestle: that a lamp may burn always,

21In the tent of meeting, without the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah: it shall be a statute for ever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

21Let Aaron and his sons put this in order, evening and morning, before the Lord, inside the Tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the ark; this is to be an order for ever, from generation to generation, to be kept by the children of Israel.

21in the tent of meeting, at the outside of the vail, which <FI>is<Fi> over the testimony, doth Aaron--his sons also--arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah--a statute age-during to their generations, from the sons of Israel.

21In the tabernacle of the testimony, without the veil that hangs before the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall order it, that it may give light before the Lord until the morning. It shall be a perpetual observance throughout their successions among the children of Israel.
