1Now David was old and full of days; and he made Solomon his son king over Israel.

31They were to help whenever burnt offerings were presented to the Lord on Sabbaths, New Moon festivals, and other appointed feasts. They served regularly before the Lord in the numbers required by the rules.
32and that they should keep the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, for the service of the house of Jehovah.
32So the Levites took charge of the Tent of Meeting and the Holy Place, and they assisted their relatives, the descendants of Aaron, in the service of the Lord's temple.
