What Revelation 20:10 means
The devil, the deceiver of the nations, is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet already are. His doom is final and eternal: torment day and night for ever and ever. The one who once accused and enslaved is judged without appeal. This ends the career of the evil triad—the beast, the false prophet, and the devil—each consigned to unending judgment. The vision assures that evil’s head is crushed and cannot rise again. For the church, this declares not only survival but the complete removal of the deceiver. God’s justice is not partial or temporary; it is conclusive and everlasting in its verdict against the arch-enemy.

Context
Following the destruction of the gathered armies, attention turns to the instigator himself. Verse 10 concludes the saga of Satan begun in verses 1–3 and resumed in verses 7–9. With the devil judged, the narrative pivots to the universal judgment of humanity in verses 11–15. The flow moves from the demise of the personal source of deception to the great assize before the throne, where all accounts are settled.
v.9And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them.
v.10This passage
v.11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
