1A Psalm. Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, For wonders He hath done, Given salvation to Him hath His right hand and His holy arm.
1A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.
2Jehovah hath made known His salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, He hath revealed His righteousness,
2The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.
3He hath remembered His kindness, And His faithfulness to the house of Israel, All ends of earth have seen the salvation of our God.
3Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:
4Shout to Jehovah, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.
4And the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.
5Sing to Jehovah with harp, With harp, and voice of praise,
5Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.
6With trumpets, and voice of a cornet, Shout ye before the king Jehovah.
6Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:
7Roar doth the sea and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.
7He spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.
