Psalms 98

1Oh sing unto Jehovah a new song; For he hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him.

1Sing a new song to Jehovah, because he has done amazing things. His own right hand and his holy arm have won the victory for him.

2Jehovah hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the nations.

2Jehovah has announced his victory; he has shown his justice clearly to all the nations.

3He hath remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

3He has remembered his constant love and his faithfulness to the people of Israel. Every corner of the earth has seen the salvation of our God.

4Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all the earth: Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

4Shout for joy to Jehovah, everyone on earth; break out into joyful songs and make music.

5Sing praises unto Jehovah with the harp; With the harp and the voice of melody.

5Sing praises to Jehovah with the harp; with the harp and the sound of singing.

6With trumpets and sound of cornet Make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

6With trumpets and the blast of a ram’s horn, shout for joy before the King, Jehovah.

7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein;

7Let the ocean and everything in it roar; let the world and all its people join in.

8Let the floods clap their hands; Let the hills sing for joy together

8Let the rivers clap their hands, and let the hills sing together for joy.

9Before Jehovah; for he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.

9Do this before Jehovah, because he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with fairness and all people with justice.
