1O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
1Sing to Jehovah a new song, Sing to Jehovah all the earth.
1For the same David, when his land was restored again to him. The Lord hath reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad.
2Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
2Sing to Jehovah, bless His name, Proclaim from day to day His salvation.
2Clouds and darkness are round about him: justice and judgment are the establishment of his throne.
3Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
3Declare among nations His honour, Among all the peoples His wonders.
3A fire shall go before him, and shall burn his enemies round about.
4For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
4For great <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah, and praised greatly, Fearful He <FI>is<Fi> over all gods.
4His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled.
5For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
5For all the gods of the peoples <FI>are<Fi> nought, And Jehovah made the heavens.
5The mountains melted like wax, at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.
6Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
6Honour and majesty <FI>are<Fi> before Him, Strength and beauty in His sanctuary.
6The heavens declared his justice: and all people saw his glory.
7Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
7Ascribe to Jehovah, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
7Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels:
8Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
8Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present and come in to His courts.
8Sion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Juda rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Lord.
9O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
9Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the honour of holiness, Be afraid of His presence, all the earth.
9For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.
10Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
10Say among nations, `Jehovah hath reigned, Also--established is the world, unmoved, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.'
10You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner.
11Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
11The heavens joy, and the earth is joyful, The sea and its fulness roar.
11Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart.
12Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
12The field exulteth, and all that <FI>is<Fi> in it, Then sing do all trees of the forest,
12Rejoice, ye just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness.
13Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
13Before Jehovah, for He hath come, For He hath come to judge the earth. He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the peoples in His faithfulness!
