1O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

1O make a new song to the Lord; let all the earth make melody to the Lord.

1For the same David, when his land was restored again to him. The Lord hath reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad.

2Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

2Make songs to the Lord, blessing his name; give the good news of his salvation day by day.

2Clouds and darkness are round about him: justice and judgment are the establishment of his throne.

3Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

3Make clear his glory to the nations, and his wonders to all the peoples.

3A fire shall go before him, and shall burn his enemies round about.

4For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

4His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled.

5For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

6Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

7Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels:

8Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

8Give to the Lord the glory of his name; take with you an offering and come into his house.

8Sion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Juda rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Lord.

9O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

9O give worship to the Lord in holy robes; be in fear before him, all the earth.

9For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.

10Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

10Say among the nations, The Lord is King; yes, the world is ordered so that it may not be moved; he will be an upright judge of the peoples.

10You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner.

11Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

11Let the heavens have joy and the earth be glad; let the sea be thundering with all its waters;

11Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart.

12Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

12Let the field be glad, and everything which is in it; yes, let all the trees of the wood be sounding with joy,

12Rejoice, ye just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness.

13Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

13Before the Lord, for he is come; he is come to be the judge of the earth; the earth will be judged in righteousness, and the peoples with unchanging faith.
