1The Lord is King; he is clothed with glory; the Lord is clothed with strength; power is the cord of his robe; the world is fixed, so that it may not be moved.

1The Lord is the God to whom revenge belongeth: the God of revenge hath acted freely.

1Jehovah hath reigned, Excellency He hath put on, Jehovah put on strength, He girded Himself, Also--established is the world, unmoved.

2The seat of your power has been from the past; you are eternal.

2Lift up thyself, thou that judgest the earth: render a reward to the proud.

2Established is Thy throne since then, From the age Thou <FI>art<Fi> .

3The rivers send up, O Lord, the rivers send up their voices; they send them up with a loud cry.

3How long shall sinners, O Lord: how long shall sinners glory?

3Floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, Floods have lifted up their voice, Floods lift up their breakers.

4The Lord in heaven is stronger than the noise of great waters, yes, he is stronger than the great waves of the sea.

4Shall they utter, and speak iniquity: shall all speak who work injustice?

4Than the voices of many mighty waters, Breakers of a sea, mighty on high <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah,

5Your witness is most certain; it is right for your house to be holy, O Lord, for ever.

5Thy people, O Lord, they have brought low: and they have afflicted thy inheritance.

5Thy testimonies have been very stedfast, To Thy house comely <FI>is<Fi> holiness, O Jehovah, for length of days!
