1 This house is resting on the holy mountain.

1 His foundation is in the mountains of holiness.

2The Lord has more love for the doors of Zion than for all the tents of Jacob.

2 Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion more than all the habitations of Jacob.

3Noble things are said of you, O town of God. (Selah.)

3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city ofGod. Selah.

4Rahab and Babylon will be named among those who have knowledge of me; see, Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man had his birth there.

4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon among them that know me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: this [man] was born there.

5And of Zion it will be said, This or that man had his birth there; and the Most High will make her strong.

5 And of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; and the Most High himself shall establish her.

6The Lord will keep in mind, when he is writing the records of the people, that this man had his birth there. (Selah.)

6 Jehovah will count, when he inscribeth the peoples, This [man] was born there. Selah.

7The players on instruments will be there, and the dancers will say, All my springs are in you.

7 As well the singers as the dancers [shall say], All my springs are in thee.
