2Give to the king thy judgment, O God, and to the king's son thy justice: To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment.
2In Thy righteousness Thou dost deliver me, And dost cause me to escape, Incline unto me Thine ear, and save me.
3Let the mountains receive peace for the people: and the hills justice.
3Be to me for a rock--a habitation, To go in continually, Thou hast given command to save me, For my rock and my bulwark <FI>art<Fi> Thou.
4He shall judge the poor of the people, and he shall save the children of the poor: and he shall humble the oppressor.
4O my God, cause me to escape From the hand of the wicked, From the hand of the perverse and violent.
5And he shall continue with the sun and before the moon, throughout all generations.
5For Thou <FI>art<Fi> my hope, O Lord Jehovah, My trust from my youth.
6He shall come down like rain upon the fleece; and as showers falling gently upon the earth.
6By Thee I have been supported from the womb, From my mother's bowels Thou dost cut me out, In Thee <FI>is<Fi> my praise continually.
7In his days shall justice spring up, and abundance of peace, till the moon be taken away.
7As a wonder I have been to many, And Thou <FI>art<Fi> my strong refuge.
8And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
8Filled is my mouth <FI>with<Fi> Thy praise, All the day <FI>with<Fi> Thy beauty.
9Before him the Ethiopians shall fall down: and his enemies shall lick the ground.
9Cast me not off at the time of old age, According to the consumption of my power forsake me not.
10The kings of Tharsis and the islands shall offer presents: the kings of the Arabians and of Saba shall bring gifts:
10For mine enemies have spoken against me, And those watching my soul have taken counsel together,
11And all kings of the earth shall adore him: all nations shall serve him.
11Saying, `God hath forsaken him, Pursue and catch him, for there is no deliverer.'
12For he shall deliver the poor from the mighty: and the needy that had no helper.
12O God, be not far from me, O my God, for my help make haste.
13He shall spare the poor and needy: and he shall save the souls of the poor.
13They are ashamed, they are consumed, Who are opposing my soul, They are covered <FI>with<Fi> reproach and blushing, Who are seeking my evil,
14He shall redeem their souls from usuries and iniquity: and their names shall be honourable in his sight.
14And I continually do wait with hope, And have added unto all Thy praise.
15And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Arabia, for him they shall always adore: they shall bless him all the day.
15My mouth recounteth Thy righteousness, All the day Thy salvation, For I have not known the numbers.
16And there shall be a firmament on the earth on the tops of mountains, above Libanus shall the fruit thereof be exalted: and they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth.
16I come in the might of the Lord Jehovah, I mention Thy righteousness--Thine only.
17Let his name be blessed for evermore: his name continueth before the sun. And in him shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed: all nations shall magnify him.
17God, Thou hast taught me from my youth, And hitherto I declare Thy wonders.
18Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone doth wonderful things.
18And also unto old age and grey hairs, O God, forsake me not, Till I declare Thy strength to a generation, To every one that cometh Thy might.
19And blessed be the name of his majesty for ever: and the whole earth shall be filled with his majesty. So be it. So be it.
19And Thy righteousness, O God, <FI>is<Fi> unto the heights, Because Thou hast done great things, O God, who <FI>is<Fi> like Thee?
20The praises of David, the son of Jesse, are ended.
20Because Thou hast showed me many and sad distresses, Thou turnest back--Thou revivest me, And from the depths of the earth, Thou turnest back--Thou bringest me up.

21Thou dost increase my greatness, And Thou surroundest--Thou comfortest me,

22I also thank Thee with a vessel of psaltery, Thy truth, O my God, I sing to Thee with a harp, O Holy One of Israel,
