1 May God give us mercy and blessing, and let the light of his face be shining on us; (Selah.)
1God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
1To the Overseer, with stringed instruments. --A Psalm, a Song. God doth favour us and bless us, Doth cause His face to shine with us. Selah.
2So that men may see your way on the earth, and your salvation among all nations.
2That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
2For the knowledge in earth of Thy way, among all nations of Thy salvation.
3Let the peoples give you praise, O God; let all the peoples give you praise.
3Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
3Praise Thee do peoples, O God, Praise Thee do peoples, all of them.
4O let the nations be glad, and make song of joy; for you will be the judge of the peoples in righteousness, guiding the nations of the earth. (Selah.)
4O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
4Rejoice and sing do nations, For Thou judgest peoples uprightly, And peoples on earth comfortest. Selah.
5Let the peoples give you praise, O God; let all the peoples give you praise.
5Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
5Confess Thee do peoples, O God, Confess Thee do peoples--all of them.
