1Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
1The inscription of a title to David himself. Preserve me, O Lord, for I have put my trust in thee.
1 Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart;
2I have said to the Lord, thou art my God, for thou hast no need of my goods.
2He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart;
3He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;
3To the saints, who are in his land, he hath made wonderful all my desires in them.
3He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;
4In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;
4Their infirmities were multiplied: afterwards they made haste. I will not gather together their meetings for bloodofferings: nor will I be mindful of their names by my lips.
4In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;
5He that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
5The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: it is thou that wilt restore my inheritance to me.
5He that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
