1Praise ye Jah! Praise ye the name of Jehovah, Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,

1Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.

2Who are standing in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

2Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God,

3Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> good, Sing praise to His name, for <FI>it is<Fi> pleasant.

3Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

4For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.

4For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

14For Jehovah doth judge His people, And for His servants comforteth Himself.

14For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15The idols of the nations <FI>are<Fi> silver and gold, Work of the hands of man.

15The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

16A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

17Ears they have, and they give not ear, Nose--there is no breath in their mouth!

18Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

21Blessed <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah from Zion, Inhabiting Jerusalem--praise ye Jah!
