1Let the Lord be praised. O you servants of the Lord, give praise to the name of the Lord.

1Alleluia. Praise the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

1Praise ye Jah! Praise ye the name of Jehovah, Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,

2You who are in the house of the Lord, and in the open spaces of the house of our God,

2Praise ye the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2Who are standing in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

3Give praise to Jah, for he is good: make melody to his name, for it is pleasing.

3Praise ye the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah <FI>is<Fi> good, Sing praise to His name, for <FI>it is<Fi> pleasant.

4For the Lord has taken Jacob for himself, and Israel for his property.

4Who alone doth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

4For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.

5I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is greater than all other gods.

5Who made the heavens in understanding: for his mercy endureth for ever.

5For I have known that great <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah, Yea, our Lord <FI>is<Fi> above all gods.

6The Lord has done whatever was pleasing to him, in heaven, and on the earth, in the seas and in all the deep waters.

6Who established the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

6All that Jehovah pleased He hath done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,

7He makes the mists go up from the ends of the earth; he makes thunder-flames for the rain; he sends out the winds from his store-houses.

7Who made the great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever.

7Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, Lightnings for the rain He hath made, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.

8He put to death the first-fruits of Egypt, of man and of beast.

8The sun to rule the day: for his mercy endureth for ever.

8Who smote the first-born of Egypt, From man unto beast.

9He sent signs and wonders among you, O Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.

10He overcame great nations, and put strong kings to death;

12And gave their land for a heritage, even for a heritage to Israel his people.

12With a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

12And He gave their land an inheritance, An inheritance to Israel His people,

13O Lord, your name is eternal; and the memory of you will have no end.

13Who divided the Red Sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever.

14For the Lord will be judge of his people's cause; his feelings will be changed to his servants.

15The images of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

17Who smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever.

17Ears they have, and they give not ear, Nose--there is no breath in their mouth!

18Those who make them are like them; and so is everyone who puts his hope in them.

18And slew strong kings: for his mercy endureth for ever.

18Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

19Give praise to the Lord, O children of Israel: give praise to the Lord, O sons of Aaron:

19Sehon king of the Amorrhites: for his mercy endureth for ever.

19O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah, O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah,

20Give praise to the Lord, O sons of Levi: let all the worshippers of the Lord give him praise.

20And Og king of Basan: for his mercy endureth for ever.

20O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah, Those fearing Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.

21Praise be to the Lord out of Zion, even to the Lord whose house is in Jerusalem, Let the Lord be praised.

21And he gave their land for an inheritance: for his mercy endureth for ever.

21Blessed <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah from Zion, Inhabiting Jerusalem--praise ye Jah!
