1Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, But unto thy name give glory, For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth’s sake.
1Lord, do not give glory to us—not to us—but give it to your name, because of your constant love and your faithfulness.
2Wherefore should the nations say, Where is now their God?
2Why should the other nations be allowed to ask, 'Where is their God now?'
3But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever he pleased.
