1Let the Lord be praised. O you servants of the Lord, give praise to the name of the Lord.
1Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
1Praise ye Jah! Praise, ye servants of Jehovah. Praise the name of Jehovah.
2Let blessing be on the name of the Lord, from this time and for ever.
2Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
2The name of Jehovah is blessed, From henceforth, and unto the age.
3From the coming up of the sun to its going down, the Lord's name is to be praised.
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.
3From the rising of the sun unto its going in, Praised <FI>is<Fi> the name of Jehovah.
4The Lord is high over all nations, and his glory is higher than the heavens.
4The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
4High above all nations <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah, Above the heavens <FI>is<Fi> his honour.
5Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high,
5Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
5Who <FI>is<Fi> as Jehovah our God, He is exalting <FI>Himself<Fi> to sit?
6Looking down on the heavens, and on the earth?
6Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
6He is humbling <FI>Himself<Fi> to look On the heavens and on the earth.
7He takes the poor man out of the dust, lifting him up from his low position;
7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
7He is raising up from the dust the poor, From a dunghill He exalteth the needy.
