Psalms 113

1Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.

1Praise the LORD! You servants of the LORD, praise him; praise the name of the LORD.

2Blessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.

2Let the name of the LORD be blessed both now and forever.

3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah’s name is to be praised.

3From the sunrise in the east to the sunset in the west, the name of the LORD is to be praised.

4Jehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

4The LORD is high above all the nations, and his glory reaches above the heavens.

5Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

5Who is like the LORD our God, who sits on his throne in the highest place?

6That humbleth himself to behold The things that arein heaven and in the earth?

6He stoops down to look at the things in the heavens and on the earth.

7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

7He raises the poor out of the dust and lifts the needy from the garbage pile.

8That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

8He seats them with princes, even with the princes of his own people.

9He maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to bea joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.

9He gives the childless woman a family and makes her a happy mother in her home. Praise the LORD!
