1A psalm for David himself. Mercy and judgment I will sing to thee, O Lord: I will sing,
1A Psalm of Thanksgiving. Shout to Jehovah, all the earth.
1Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands.
2And I will understand in the unspotted way, when thou shalt come to me. I walked in the innocence of my heart, in the midst of my house.
2Serve Jehovah with joy, come before him with singing.
2Serve Jehovah with gladness: Come before his presence with singing.
3I will not set before my eyes any unjust thing: I hated the workers of iniquities.
3Know that Jehovah He <FI>is<Fi> God, He made us, and we are His, His people--and the flock of His pasture.
3Know ye that Jehovah, he is God: It is he that hath made us, and we are his; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4The perverse heart did not cleave to me: and the malignant, that turned aside from me, I would not know.
4Enter ye His gates with thanksgiving, His courts with praise, Give ye thanks to Him, bless ye His Name.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.
5The man that in private detracted his neighbour, him did I persecute. With him that had a proud eye, and an unsatiable heart, I would not eat.
5For good <FI>is<Fi> Jehovah, to the age His kindness, And to generation and generation His faithfulness!
5For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness endureth for ever, And his faithfulness unto all generations.
6My eyes were upon the faithful of the earth, to sit with me: the man that walked in the perfect way, he served me.
