1A man often reproved, hardening the neck, Is suddenly broken, and there is no healing.

2When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh.

2When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

2In the multiplying of the righteous the people rejoice, And in the ruling of the wicked the people sigh.

3Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father; But he that keepeth company with harlots wasteth his substance.
