What Lamentations 3:62 means
The enemies’ lips speak against him continually; their plotting is constant. This reveals a sustained campaign of slander and malice. The verse captures how relentless opposition can be and how wearying it is to endure ongoing verbal assault. Yet by bringing this to God, the sufferer resists the temptation to answer in kind, leaving his reputation and defense with the Lord who hears every word and will vindicate His servant.

Context
Here the persistence of the enemies’ hostility is highlighted. Verse 63 will add that the mockery is comprehensive—during all their activities, he is their song. With the thoroughness of the injustice established, the stage is set for the closing petitions that Jehovah repay them according to their deeds (vv. 64–66).
