1And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me.

1On that day, you will say: 'I will give thanks to you, O LORD; for even though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away, and you have comforted me.'

2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid: for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

2Look, God is the one who saves me; I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

3With great joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

4And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

4And on that day you will say: 'Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name, tell all the nations what he has done, and remind everyone that his name is highly honored.'

5Sing unto Jehovah; for he hath done excellent things: let this be known in all the earth.

5Sing to the LORD, because he has done wonderful things; let this be known throughout the entire world.

6Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

6Shout out loud and sing for joy, you people of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great and stays among you.
