1Brethren, if a man also may be overtaken in any trespass, ye who <FI>are<Fi> spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself--lest thou also may be tempted;

1Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest thou also be tempted.

2of one another the burdens bear ye, and so fill up the law of the Christ,

2Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ.

3for if any one doth think <FI>himself<Fi> to be something--being nothing--himself he doth deceive;

3For if any man reputes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself;

4and his own work let each one prove, and then in regard to himself alone the glorying he shall have, and not in regard to the other,

4but let each prove his own work, and then he will have his boast in what belongs to himself alone, and not in what belongs to another.

5for each one his own burden shall bear.

5For each shall bear his own burden.

6And let him who is instructed in the word share with him who is instructing--in all good things.

6Let him that is taught in the word communicate to him that teaches in all good things.

7Be not led astray; God is not mocked; for what a man may sow--that also he shall reap,

7Be not deceived:God is not mocked; for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap.

8because he who is sowing to his own flesh, of the flesh shall reap corruption; and he who is sowing to the Spirit, of the Spirit shall reap life age-during;

8For he that sows to his own flesh, shall reap corruption from the flesh; but he that sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap eternal life:

9and in the doing good we may not be faint-hearted, for at the proper time we shall reap--not desponding;

9but let us not lose heart in doing good; for in due time, if we do not faint, we shall reap.

10therefore, then, as we have opportunity, may we work the good to all, and especially unto those of the household of the faith.

10So then, as we have occasion, let us do good towards all, and specially towards those of the household of faith.

11Ye see in how large letters I have written to you with my own hand;

11See how long a letter I have written to you with my own hand.

12as many as are willing to make a good appearance in the flesh, these constrain you to be circumcised--only that for the cross of the Christ they may not be persecuted,

12As many as desire to have a fair appearance in [the] flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted because of the cross of Christ.

13for neither do those circumcised themselves keep the law, but they wish you to be circumcised, that in your flesh they may glory.

13For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

14And for me, let it not be--to glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which to me the world hath been crucified, and I to the world;

14But far be it from me to boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [the] world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

15for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation;

15For [in Christ Jesus] neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision; but new creation.

16and as many as by this rule do walk--peace upon them, and kindness, and on the Israel of God!

16And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace upon them and mercy, and upon the Israel ofGod.

17Henceforth, let no one give me trouble, for I the scars of the Lord Jesus in my body do bear.

17For the rest let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the brands of the Lord Jesus.

18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ <FI>is<Fi> with your spirit, brethren! Amen.

18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
