1And Beseleel made also, the ark of setim wood: it was two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth, and the height was of one cubit and a half: and he overlaid it with the purest gold within and without.
1And Bezaleel made the ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
2And he made to it a crown of gold round about,
2And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a border of gold upon it round about.
3Casting four rings of gold at the four corners thereof: two rings in one side, and two in the other.
3And he cast for it four rings of gold, for its four corners: two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.
4And he made bars of setim wood, which he overlaid with gold,
4And he made staves of acacia-wood and overlaid them with gold.
5And he put them into the rings that were at the sides of the ark to carry it.
5And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark.
6He made also the propitiatory, that is, the oracle, of the purest gold, two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth.
6— And he made a mercy-seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
7Two cherubims also of beaten gold, which he set on the two sides of the propitiatory:
7And he made two cherubim of gold; of beaten work did he make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat;
8One cherub in the top of one side, and the other cherub in the top of the other side: two cherubims at the two ends of the propitiatory,
8one cherub at the end of one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat he made the two cherubim at the two ends thereof.
9Spreading their wings, and covering the propitiatory, and looking one towards the other, and towards it.
9And the cherubim spread out [their] wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat; and their faces were opposite to one another: the faces of the cherubim were [turned] toward the mercy-seat.
10He made also the table of setim wood, in length two cubits, and in breadth one cubit, and in height it was a cubit and a half.
10And he made the table of acacia-wood; two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
11And he overlaid it with the finest gold, and he made to it a golden ledge round about,
11And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made upon it a border of gold round about.
12And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers breadth, and upon the same another golden crown.
12And he made for it a margin of a hand-breadth round about; and made a border of gold for the margin thereof round about.
13And he cast four rings of gold, which he put in the four corners at each foot of the table,
13And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that were on the four feet thereof.
14Over against the crown: and he put the bars into them, that the table might be carried.
14Close to the margin were the rings, as receptacles of the staves to carry the table.
15The bars also themselves he made of setim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
15And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.
16And the vessels for the divers uses of the table, dishes, bowls, and cups, and censers of pure gold, wherein the libations are to be offered.
16And he made the utensils that were on the table, the dishes thereof, and the cups thereof, and the bowls thereof, and the goblets with which to pour out, of pure gold.
17He made also the candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold. from the shaft whereof its branches, its cups, and bowls, and lilies came out:
17And he made the candlestick of pure gold; [of] beaten work he made the candlestick: its base, and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers were of itself.
18Six on the two sides: three branches on one side, and three on the other.
18And six branches went out of the sides thereof — three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof;
19Three cups in manner of a nut on each branch, and bowls withal and lilies: and three cups of the fashion of a nut in another branch, and bowls withal and lilies. The work of the six branches, that went out from the shaft of the candlestick was equal.
19[there were] three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower; and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches which went out of the candlestick.
20And in the shaft itself were four cups after the manner of a nut, and bowls withal at every one, and lilies:
20And in the candlestick were four cups, shaped like almonds, its knobs, and its flowers;
21And bowls under two branches in three places, which together made six branches going out from one shaft.
21and a knob under two branches thereof, and [again] a knob under two branches thereof, and [again] a knob under two branches thereof, for the six branches which went out of it.
22So both the bowls, and the branches were of the same, all beaten work of the purest gold.
22Their knobs and their branches were of itself — all of one beaten work of pure gold.
23He made also the seven lamps with their snuffers, and the vessels where the snuffings were to be put out, of the purest gold.
23And he made the seven lamps thereof, and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.
24The candlestick with all the vessels thereof weighed a talent of gold.
24Of a talent of pure gold he made it, and all its utensils.
25He made also the alter of incense of setim wood, being a cubit on every side foursquare, and in height two cubits: from the corners of which went out horns.
25And he made the altar of incense of acacia-wood; a cubit the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, square, and two cubits the height thereof: its horns were of itself.
26And he overlaid it with the purest gold, with its grate, and the sides, and the horns.
26And he overlaid it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and made upon it a border of gold round about.
27And he made to it a crown of gold round about, and two golden rings under the crown at each side, that the bars might be put into them, and the altar be carried.
27And he made two rings of gold for it under its border, by its two corners, on the two sides thereof, as receptacles for the staves with which to carry it.
