1And Bezalel and Oholiab shall work, and every wise-hearted man, in whom Jehovah hath put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all the work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that Jehovah hath commanded.

1So let Bezalel and Oholiab get to work, with every wise-hearted man to whom the Lord has given wisdom and knowledge, to do whatever is necessary for the ordering of the holy place, as the Lord has given orders.

1Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whom Jehovah had put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work of the service of the sanctuary — according to all that Jehovah had commanded.

2And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whose heart Jehovah had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

2Then Moses sent for Bezalel and Oholiab, and for all the wise-hearted men to whom the Lord had given wisdom, even everyone who was moved by the impulse of his heart to come and take part in the work:

2And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whose heartGod had put wisdom, every one whose heart moved him to come to the work to do it.

3and they received of Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, wherewith to make it. And they brought yet unto him freewill-offerings every morning.

3And they took from Moses all the offerings which the children of Israel had given for the building of the holy place. And still they went on giving him more free offerings every morning.

3And they took from Moses every heave-offering that the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it. And they still brought him voluntary offerings morning by morning.

4And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they wrought;

5and they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which Jehovah commanded to make.

6And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

6So Moses made an order and had it given out through all the tents, saying, Let no man or woman make any more offerings for the holy place. So the people were kept from giving more.

6Then Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed through the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the heave-offering of the sanctuary! So the people were restrained from bringing;

7For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

7For the material they had was enough and more than enough for all the work which had to be done.

8And all the wise-hearted men among them that wrought the work made the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim, the work of the skilful workman, Bezalel made them.

8Then all the expert workmen among them made the House with its ten curtains; of the best linen, blue and purple and red, they made them, with winged ones worked by expert designers.

8And every wise-hearted man among those that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: [with] cherubim of artistic work did he make them.

9The length of each curtain was eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits: all the curtains had one measure.

9Every curtain was twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide, all of the same measure.

9The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits — one measure for all the curtains.

10And he coupled five curtains one to another: and the other five curtains he coupled one to another.

10And five curtains were joined together, and the other five curtains were joined together.

11And he made loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the second coupling.

11And they put twists of blue cord on the edge of the outside curtain of the first group, and in the same way on the outside curtain of the second group.

11And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain at the edge of the coupling; he did likewise in the edge of the outermost curtain in the other coupling.

12Fifty loops made he in the one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain that was in the second coupling: the loops were opposite one to another.

12Fifty twists on the one curtain and fifty on the edge of the curtain of the other group; the twists being opposite to one another.

13And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one to another with the clasps: so the tabernacle was one.

13And they made fifty hooks of gold, joining the curtains one to another with the hooks; and so the House was made.

14And he made curtains of goats’hairfor a tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.

17And he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which was outmost in the second coupling.

17And they put fifty twists of cord on the edge of the outside curtain of the first group, and fifty twists on the edge of the outside curtain of the second group,

18And he made fifty clasps of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

19And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of sealskins above.

20And he made the boards for the tabernacle, of acacia wood, standing up.

21Ten cubits was the length of a board, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each board.

31And he made bars of acacia wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

33And he made the middle bar to pass through in the midst of the boards from the one end to the other.

36And he made thereunto four pillars of acacia, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

38and the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their capitals and their fillets with gold; and their five sockets were of brass.

38And five pillars for the curtain, with their hooks; the heads of the pillars were of gold and they were circled with bands of gold; and their five bases were of brass.
