1And all the multitude of the children of Israel being gathered together, he said to them: These are the things which the Lord hath commanded to be done:

1And Moses assembleth all the company of the sons of Israel, and saith unto them, `These <FI>are<Fi> the things which Jehovah hath commanded--to do them:

1And Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said unto them, These are the words which Jehovah hath commanded, that ye should do them.

2Six days you shall do work; the seventh day shall be holy unto you, the sabbath and the rest of the Lord: he that shall do any work on it, shall be put to death.

2Six days is work done, and on the seventh day there is to you a holy <FI>day<Fi> , a sabbath of rest to Jehovah; any who doeth work in it is put to death;

2Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of solemn rest to Jehovah: whosoever doeth any work therein shall be put to death.

3You shall kindle no fire in any of your habitations on the sabbath day.

3ye do not burn a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath-day.'

3Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

4And Moses said to all the assembly of the children of Israel: This is the word the Lord hath commanded, saying:

5Take ye from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah; every one whose heart <FI>is<Fi> willing doth bring it, --the heave-offering of Jehovah, --gold, and silver, and brass,

5Take ye from among you an offering unto Jehovah; whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, Jehovah’s offering: gold, and silver, and brass,

6Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, goats' hair,

6and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats' <FI>hair<Fi> ,

6and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,

7And rams' skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins, setim wood,

8And oil to maintain lights, and to make ointment, and most sweet incense,

16`The altar of burnt-offering and the brazen grate which it hath, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base,

17The curtains of the court, with the pillars and the sockets, the hanging in the doors of the entry.

20And all the multitude of the children of Israel going out from the presence of Moses,

20And all the company of the sons of Israel go out from the presence of Moses,

21Offered firstfruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to make the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatever was necessary to the service and to the holy vestments,

21and they come in--every man whom his heart hath lifted up, and every one whom his spirit hath made willing--they have brought in the heave-offering of Jehovah for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.

21And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, andbrought Jehovah’s offering, for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all the service thereof, and for the holy garments.

22Both men and women gave bracelets and earrings, rings and tablets: every vessel of gold was set aside to be offered to the Lord.

22And they come in--the men with the women--every willing-hearted one--they have brought in nose-ring, and ear-ring, and seal-ring, and necklace, all golden goods, even every one who hath waved a wave-offering of gold to Jehovah.

22And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought brooches, and ear-rings, and signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man that offered an offering of gold unto Jehovah.

23If any man had violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, fine linen and goats' hair, ramskins dyed red, and violet coloured skins,

23And every man with whom hath been found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats' <FI>hair<Fi> , and rams' skins made red, and badgers' skins, have brought <FI>them<Fi> in;

23And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and rams’ skins dyed red, and sealskins, brought them.

24Metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, and setim wood for divers uses.

24every one lifting up a heave-offering of silver and brass have brought in the heave-offering of Jehovah; and every one with whom hath been found shittim wood for any work of the service brought <FI>it<Fi> in.

24Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought Jehovah’s offering; and every man, with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25The skilful women also gave such things as they had spun, violet, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen,

25And every wise-hearted woman hath spun with her hands, and they bring in yarn, the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the linen;

25And all the women that were wise-hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.

26And goats' hair, giving all of their own accord.

26and all the women whose heart hath lifted them up in wisdom, have spun the goats' <FI>hair<Fi> .

26And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats’ hair.

27But the princes offered onyx stones, and precious stones, for the ephod and the rational,

27And the princes have brought in the shoham stones, and the stones for settings, for the ephod, and for the breastplate,

27And the rulers brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28And spices and oil for the lights, and for the preparing of ointment, and to make the incense of most sweet savour.

28and the spices, and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the spice perfume;

28and the spice, and the oil; for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29All, both men and women, with devout mind offered gifts, that the works might be done which the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses. All the children of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.

29every man and woman (whom their heart hath made willing to bring in for all the work which Jehovah commanded to be done by the hand of Moses) <FI>of<Fi> the sons of Israel brought in a willing-offering to Jehovah.

29The children of Israel brought a freewill-offering unto Jehovah; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Jehovah had commanded to be made by Moses.

30And Moses said to the children of Israel: Behold, the Lord hath called by name Beseleel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Juda,

30And Moses saith unto the sons of Israel, `See, Jehovah hath called by name Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

30And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, Jehovah hath called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31And hath filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding, and knowledge, and all learning,

31and He doth fill him <FI>with<Fi> the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work,

32To devise and to work in gold and silver and brass,

32even to devise devices to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

32and to devise skilful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33And in engraving stones, and in carpenters' work. Whatsoever can be devised artificially,

33and in graving of stones for settings, and in graving of wood to work in any work of design.

33and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of skilful workmanship.

34He hath given in his heart: Ooliab also, the son of Achisamech, of the tribe of Dan:

34`And to direct He hath put in his heart, he and Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan;

34And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35Both of them hath he instructed with wisdom, to do carpenters' work, and tapestry, and embroidery in blue and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and to weave all things, and to invent all new things.

35He hath filled them with wisdom of heart to do every work, of engraver, and designer, and embroiderer (in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in linen), and weaver, who do any work, and of designers of designs.

35Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of workmanship, of the engraver, and of the skilful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any workmanship, and of those that devise skilful works.
